My good friend Chauncy Welliver (as most will know is now ranked 12th in the WBO at heavyweight) told me about some local fights and invited me along. I went with my little brother (his first live fight) and enjoyed a few good scraps. Anyway, Chauncy introduced me to the legendary Greg Haugen and Joe Hipp. It was an honor to speak with them. Both were very polite (and Hipp was funny as hell). The main event was Corey Williams vs. Jonte Willis. The fight wasn't the best, but Jonte Willis improved to 6-0 with 3 ko's. Hopefully he will step it up soon. Apparently he was a pretty decent amateur.

    Nice to hear they're fine.

Hipp was scary to watch, sometimes, man.

Took too much damage, and was still hungry for more. Tough guy.
