    That's from June 2010. Mayweather was on his vacation. They haven't re-entered negotiations since. See if it holds true should they try for the fight after both their next fights

    no training in the phillipines would suit Roach imo, which would only help Pacquiao's preparation.

    That means the primary reason he wasn't committed the first time around was he couldn't risk losing to Mayweather before the election. Not saying this for a fact but it made sense.
