Your right, technically he can be awkward, but he has good speed. I'm actually excited about this fight. It's going to be good. I'm sticking with the Jiminez pick, mostly because I'm stubborn and nobody else is picking him. It's possible.
Its boxing so anything is possible :bbb Not gonna lie though; I will be devastated if Gamboa loses :|
Amen to that. The only upset this weekend I'm seriously leaning toward backing is Albert over Kirkland. I'm very interested to see what Kirkland's plan B is going to be against a solid chinned African pressure fighter throwing 100 punches a round at him. I also love the work Orlando Cuellar does with Glen Johnson. Maybe being around that team rubs off some magic on Albert. Or maybe I'm wrong and it's another quick night of work for Kirkland.
I actually did consider picking Albert, though I haven't actually seen him in the ring. I looked at his record and averages, and he actually looks pretty good. I wasn't terribly thrilled with Kirkland's performance on ShoBox a while back, but he came back with a couple knockouts (Mohamad Sad, Coyers). Again, this is a quality card. I'll stick with Kirklaind, though.
