You read every single letter of every single word, of every single post. Dont lie.

    I win. Again.

You dont want to debate, you want to discredit.

    The truth hurts. :deal

    Getting angrier now?

    Of course you are.

it's one thing to land a big punch, but to take a little step back and land two shots like that indicates skill, I knew what this guy was all about and it really worried me with Burns' recent issues

This is exactly how I feel. I'm already sick of this ''he broke his heart'' Bull****, ricky got schooled for a good chunk of that fight. I think there were times in the last round when gonzalez could have hit ricky fairly easy and he chose not IMO, I do believe their was an injury but we will find out about that soon enough? People are talking like ricky dismantled gonzalez to ''break his heart'' and that isn't the case at all.

watching the prefight interviews with hearn i think i had the same feeling.

Ricky "rope a dope" Burns looked in great shape before the fight, maybe a little drained, but i think they didnt do their homework on JG, and JG showed he was a world class operator.

i think what broke him was the a number of things, an injury, the fact he was in scotland and nothing left in the tank. all add to doubt in his mind that he needed a KO to win and whats the point in thanking punches if your not going to get a fair crack at the whip.

Still doesn't explain why he quit? Even if he had a broken wrist why quit?

Ask yourself how many pro rounds Gonzalez has done in a single fight, ask yourself how many people he's KO'd, then take a look at his body language when he was dragged into deep waters and Ricky Burns not only didn't drop, but he was looking stronger, the man couldn't handle it, stamina wise or mental toughness wise

"broken wrist" how many fighters have fought through MUCH worse injuries to finish a fight?(especially considering he was "dominating") when your own cornerman is questioning your heart and is is visibly disappointed when you quit, it says something, especially when Gonzalez literally walked up to Ricky Burns and raised his hand

Anyone saying Ricky was weak or drained is clutching at straws. His engine was incredible tonight and that's what won him the fight imo.

Anyone else find the massaging of Gonzalez legs a bit strange after the 7th and 8th I'm sure I've seen it happen before in boxing but I said to my mate at the time that can't be a good sign.

Gonzalez for me lost the fight in round 7 when he threw the kitchen sink at Burns. I think he literally had nothing left and felt the walls caving in on his display.

I think he could of made it over the line but watch round 7 when he has Burns on ropes he's blowing really hard his inexperience at that level cost him the fight. Burns did the right thing upping the pace, I do feel he was rather fortunate but he created the luck with his willingness to press the fight unlike others in the past who just plod along.

Burns was lucky it wasn't Vazquez in there tonight, that fight falling apart might be seen as a blessing now.

Agreed - had a look at his record, he'd only gone 8 rounds or more twice before tonight.

I agree bit of a shitty thing to say but Gonzalez beat himself in that 7th round. Ricky finished him but the damage was self inflicted

Crazy to have a fighter turn up to a world title fight as the mandatory challenger and he can't even last 12 rounds. Embarrassing for his team.

I don't think he never imagined someone could actually come back from being hurt like Burns was. Big mistake.

i think now looking back gonzalez blew his load in the 7th when he didn't need to, don't know why ? maybe he thought he needed the ko to win when it didn't come he gave up thinking he couldn't win on points.

he was also completly gased and ricky did hurt him in the 7th after that he never recoverd.
