He didn't throw enough punches. His corner pleaded with him to just throw more punches. That's all he had to do IMO... He was the bigger man, but he was moving too much.

So did I, and I just went back and watched the close rounds I gave to Cuadras, and I stick to my guns, 7-5 Cuadras, at best for Roman it was a draw.

I also had Cuadras winning by 2.
But the fix was in before the fight even started.

So Cuadras was hitting arms and shoulder how do you justify the damage done on Choco's face the volume was on Roman favor but the power and precision was on Cuadras.

I had never seen Roman in a fight like that one bro:goofy:
He looked like he wanted to be anywhere but there a few times and then...BOOM:iru: he would shift the tide.

I had Roman winning by 2 rounds but in the end he looked like the guy who got his AZE beat TBH:rota2:

Cuadras had the better of things down the stretch but he gave up too many of the early rounds. He only really came on in the last third of the fight. I'm rewatching now and wow his flurries are hitting air, arms and gloves.

Good fight. I had it 7-5 Gonzalez but you could just as easily have Cuadras winning 7-5. A rematch would be well deserved here. Gonzalez is in for some tough fights at 115 it seems.

I don't think there are seven but a case could be made for 1.Manny Pacquiao, 2.Wlad Klitschko, 3.Nonito Donaire, 4.Miguel Cotto, 5.Tim Bradley, 6.Andre Ward, 7.Danny Garcia, 8.Saul Alvarez but not all of those are prime or have been as dominant as Gonzalez is at the moment.

He's definitely in a good position to make some decent cash with either Inoue, or rematches with Caudras and Estrada but he might also lose his undefeated record.

Chocolatito looked like he saw death around the 11th round good thing it wasn't a 15 rounder.

It was a very close fight I scores it 115-113 to Gonzales but could easily have been a draw or 115-113 to Cuedras A rematch is a must.
One thing I hope Canelo watched the fights on HBO. If he did he saw for himself how REAL Mexican fighters FIGHT!! Both Cuedras & Soto Karass gave 110% in their fights. Easy to see why Maxican fans & fighters disown Canelo isn't it
What really sealed it for me I watched about 5 mins of the Canelo - Snith promo that followed. When I saw Pollo Canelo prancing around in that pretty pink fight gear I realized he belongs right along with Pretty in Pink Cotto, Fluffy Mayweather & Oscar Fishnets Theyre right he aint no Mexican FIGHTER!!

117-111 was unacceptable. It was a much closer fight than that.

I disagree. Cuardras was the best 115 lb. fighter and ROman dispatched him. Inoue won't do as well as Cuadras did--namely because Inoue isn't as big and will try and trade with Roman in the center of the ring and Roman will be wearing different gloves I bet if he fights Inoue.

Inoue is way too green and inexperienced to beat Roman. Inoue doesn't use his strengths when he should and he likes to go to war against his opponents. He's smaller than some of Roman's recent opponents and he likes to shoe-shine too much and throws too many arm punches and stands up too straight when he throws often times and we have no idea about his chin. The best thing Inoue has going for him is his speed and his left hook to the body. But, he will not win a war of attrition against Roman. I like Inoue but I honestly think it's too early for him to be able to beat Roman.
