damage is a big part of pro boxing! caudras landed the harder more effective shots and outboxed roman, calling him p4p on hbo's hype machine i a total insult to any real boxing fan

Cuadras was like Martin Murray, he did just enough to lose. His movement didn't bother me, he was doing a good job of that. What did bother me was that when Cuadras would throw his combinations, it seemed like he was more concerned with throwing and getting out than actually sitting down on his punches and being accurate. Even though Cuadras is my countryman, I think the right guy won. Would love to see the Prince vs the Monster.

Three judges had him winning a UD
and what you said doesn't count.

Why would I cheat a boxer by being biased?

7-5 Roman IMO is probably the fair score. Good fight but Cuadras was outworked too much at times and that cost him the fight.

He didn't throw enough punches. His corner pleaded with him to throw more punches. I did too. Roman won 7-5 on my card and the judges card.

Just finished the fight, Caudras did enough to keep his belt in my opinion because his the champion the challenger has to do more to take the belt. I had it 6-5 to Caudras but could of easily been a draw or a SD of either man.

I was really impressed with Caudras' movement his utilising of his hips. his foot work, combination flurries and stamina.

Chocolatito is a special talent because he's continuously moving up and still putting every fighter on the backfoot, not to mention his ability to block shots is spectular. I think this was the ceiling for him any more and he gets stopped by a big puncher like tete.

HBO commentary was deplorable, I'm surprised Kellerman could talk with Chocalatitos balls in his mouth, his usually quite neutral with most the bias coming from that **** boy Lampley. Lederman is done his score card was a travesty the 5th round and 1st was easily Caudras round.
Caudras should at least get a rematch coz that was an extremely close but entertaining fight.

Thanks just calling like it is, Roy was the only one who would call it fair as the fight progressed but its like whenever he was kellerman would jump in and say something complimentary about Chocolatito. I wanted to turn off the sound but tbh I like hearing the noise of the punches because its an indicator of whether it landed and how hard if that makes sense but it was painful to hear that commentary. In my opinion after that performance caudras would beat Inoue and possibly Roman in a rematch (just because that his actual division so roman can't really hurt him)

In fairness to Kellerman, he was disagreeing with Lederman regarding Cuadras's movement and noting the good work he was doing in the second half of the fight.

But Gonzalez controlled the last two minutes of the first and picked off most of Cuadra's incoming while landing some nice shots to the body. He won that frame (and the next three) pretty comfortably, imo. I had it 7-4-1 Gonzalez at the end, though it could have swung to a draw.
