I had doubts about Jared Anderson, but taking Zhan after Martin is refreshment in heavyweight.

American and british privilege in boxing is most unfair thing in boxing, but hell everything is unfair nowdays. Boy has 21 years and he is already in top 10, beating nobody - only americans and british can do that. But what sets apart those privileged by their county like trash WIlder, Joshua and trash ducker fake champion Fury is the youngbloods like Anderson that keep on going.

He beat Charles Martin 2 days ago, and I thought he lucky to have escaped Zhan, Zhan is dangerous fighter nobody in heavyweight will fight - especially not Fury. I fully expected Anderson to take a breather like 6 months like rest of the heavyweight, but the boy goes again aftger Zhan, in a month time.

Seen a tiny clip of the fight....did Martin have him on wobbly legs in the final seconds? If so then oh dear

He got better in latter half then in first one, Anderson was reckless and could have been floored, but chin endured.

I really like the guy. He's got a good attitude. There's loads for him to work on but he's very young and willing to fight and is respectful unlike the likes of Tiresome and Windmill.

The fact there's loads of threads about a 23 year old prospect shows how inactive the so called elite HWs are.

Worked for Joyce and Joshua, but Fury is still the champ.

It is surprising he wants to get back in there so soon. Suggests he's got the right mindset at least. Disappointed in his last fight so wants to get right back in there to give a better performance.

Yes the top guys right now are killing the division. It's a smart move too with the top guys MIA maybe he can gain some attention in their absence and build his popularity by fighting regularly.

Whys it refreshing? He's 15 fights in & pro 4 years... Joshua 4 years in had fought Whyte, Klitschko, Martin, Takam etc... & Usyk 4 years in had beaten at CW men like Huck, Glowacki, Hunter etc ... Fury had beaten Chisora , McDernott , Johnson etc .. so what's so refreshing? He's doing nothing unusual..

Definitely not the PBC approach. We wouldn't have seen Anderson-Martin until 5 years from now.

Even if he loses Anderson has an entertaining style. There aren't any American HW stars to compete with so he should be very active. He should avoid fighting anyone who speaks Russian for a few years if he wants to make a lot of money...

Whether you like Anderson or not I just don't see the world class pedigree. He loads up on all of his punches and generally only throws single shots. I was saying this the first fight I watched him in. Think he's waiting to be exposed.

Can't see him fighting that Zhan in 1 month.

It’s an interesting fight. Anderson looks a lot quicker than zhan although swings wildly. But zhan looks more controlled and doesn’t waste much. Both are southpaws. It may come down to who takes control of the centre of the ring that wins here. I can see Anderson winning via sd but I’m rooting for zhan

The boy has 17 years and the fact that he's fighting a god who has 37 years of walking the earth is refreshing.
