Off the bat, I picked Mayweather to win before the fight, and it was in fact a very close fight with very close rounds that could have gone either way.

I watched the fight live in Vegas and then again on TV at home.

My scorecard is the exact same, round by round, except the 11th, as the judge who scored the bout a draw. Check out the official scorecards here.

(not sure how to attach it so it shows up)

Here is my issue with the judges scorecards, two of the judges who had Mayweather winning by a large margin, gave Mayweather 3 out of the first 4 rounds... in other words, Maidana never stood a chance with the two judges, and lets be honest, if they had scored the first 4 rounds correctly, we would have had a different outcome and different perception of how the overall fight played out.

Its just an observation I think its worth paying attention to. In close rounds, and there were many, where Maidana threw 20 punches and landed 3 ugly, while Mayweather threw 10 and landed 2 pretty ones... the round should be awarded to the aggressor, the person putting on the pressure, the person who worked the most and who set the phase of the fight. Maidana worked every second of every round.

Also, both guys did great work to the body, but Maidana's obviously went un-noticed, and guys, re-watch the fight, his best work in the whole fight, round after round, was to the body. He put in work.

If there is a rematch, I will once again pick Mayweather to win. But for that one night this past Saturday, I had Maywather loosing a fight for the firs time in his career. (Castillo, every time I score it I end up with a draw)

Maidana's best work was below the belt and behind the head.

Your type are the kind of people that don't matter in this boards, people that it is impossible to have a serious discussion with.

The accidental headbutt was a result of a low blow from Mayweather himself that made Maidana fall forward. Notice the blocked slap left hook afterwards. There were a lot of them throughout the fight. 55% connect? Yeah, sure...

The right man won. Maidana fought a dirty fight, and Floyd fought his fight, and still won.

You don't miss 600 punches AND get outlanded and think you're going to win the fight.

Anything from 115-113 maidana up to 116-112 mayweather are perfectly acceptable scores.

Well with people like you, judging a fighters performance on how many punches he misses instead of how many he lands, of course he didn't win.

And saying Maidana fought dirty is such a hypocrite statement, given all of the forearms, holding, arms twists and other things Mayweather did. It was a dirty fight, but both fighters are equally responsible for it.

You don't think all of that arm holding, clinching and obvious forenames to Maidan's face by Mayweather had anything to do with that?
