I had taylor up by 4-2 going into the 7th and then gave him 8, 10, 12th. I thought he easily won the early rounds up until the 6th. The rest of the rounds were close but I think he did enough to get the W.
C'mon, Sumal, don't be a poor sport. It was a great fight, Taylor did his best, but Pavlik clearly won.
I am not a Taylor fan. I lost much respect when he didnt knockout Cory Spinks. I thought Hopkins won both fights and I dont like him a bit.
I had it 115- 114 Taylor. One round even. I can see it being a draw or going either way tho. Some rounds were close. I thought Taylor might have edged him tho..
IMO JT wasn't active enough. He was throwing a flurry now and then but that was about it while Pavlik was constantly working with his jabs and straight rights. I had it 115-113 Pavlik and i can agree with anyone having it up to 115-113 Taylor. The 117-111 was ridiculous (Thought not as much as the 120-108 Navarro)
Taylor seemed to land his jab at will and he did a fine job of avoiding the big right hand. Pavlik really only landed one single big right. Close fight but I gave it to Taylor. 7-5 and 1 even. 115-114 Taylor.
I was rooting for Taylor and had a significant amount of money on Taylor, but Pavlik won the fight. Going to the scorecards, I realized it would have to be a robbery for me to win my bet.
