    Pete was cheated out of that purse.

    What were Patterson's title defenses paid each if Pete didnt get 2 bucks.

    Were they all fighting for 1 or 2 $?

    Not 100% sure, but I think there was a clause in the contract, that stated if
    Pete Rademacher had won, the Title would be declared vacant, because he was not rated.

    If he won,,,,,,,

    He would have to fight the next available Top Rated contender for the 'vacant' title, who was,
    you guessed it,,,,,,,,,,Floyd Patterson.

    The clause gave Floyd Pattterson the 'rights' to promote and pick his next opponent if
    Pete Rademacher had won.
