They need to fight each other again before the end of the year, I think Jacobs won 5 or 6 rounds and his trainer gave him an ear full for trading in rounds where he could have made it easy. I think in a rematch Jacobs wins. I know a lot of people had Jacobs winning it and I could see it being 114-113 jacobs 7-5 no issues or questions.

a rematch is needed for sure.

Jacobs get mad respect for me and like i said earlier I wanted to see Triple G get banged up like we've never seen before and dropped on his ass. I need to see what happens when he gets badly hurt and he see things are not going in his favor. Unfortunately Jacobs who performed very well was just not the man to get the job done . Btw Canelo won't be the man either.

I thought both had a great game plan going into the fight. GGG showed respect to Jacobs' speed and power, by setting up his offence behind the jab. It's great to finally see somebody who is not faltered with the first punch GGG throw.
Jacobs showed great defence and gave GGG different look with his switch stand. His fast offensive outburst keep GGG cautious at times and his body works won him a few rounds.
The fight was close but the right man won. I'm glad we got to see GGG in with adversity and a worthy opponent.

GGG should target Saunders, unify the belts. Then a rematch or a fight with Canelo would have even more meaning.

Jacobs needs to fight a Lemiuex before getting a chance at those 3 titles. That would be my condition

Agreed on this. I don't believe every close fight deserves a rematch. If 3G can get Saunders next, then total unification should take priority. After Jacobs came in at about 180, I wonder how quickly 3G's team would be to do Jacobs a favor, and rematch right away. Fact f the matter is, Jacobs got his shot and lost, even if close. Time to work way back up.

Going 12 and holding his own shouldn't even feel like a defeat to Jacobs. If Golovkin is still at 160 after becoming undisputed I would like to see a rematch and believe Danny deserves it, But Gennady has more important fights in the next two or three.

Especially when 6 months ago everyone thought Jacobs would duck a fight with Golovkin. You held your own, made GGG look sloppy at times, hurt him to the body, and went the distance in a competitive fight when most thought he would get KTFO.

I hope he'll fight 2 or 3 good contenders and known names ( like Lemieux, Eubanks Jr) and then a rematch with GGG after his Canelo fight ?

I was guilty of underrating Jacobs prior to saturday. I suspected the Quillin 1 round destruction could have been a bit flukey and his resume was thin otherwise plus the chin concerns, but Jacobs won himself a new fan and I look forward to his next fight. (likeable guy too, easy to root for)

Eubanks Jr vs Danny Jacobs at 168 pounds doesn't sound too bad.
