He makes fouls intentionally in every round. And in every fight. Those low blows. That's not the fair or cool way to wear your opponent down. That's not boxing! He knows that his dirtiness is key to the victory. And it's ridilicous how is able to do all that **** without any point deductions. I really hope that someone comes and boxes his ears off.
I want to blame everyone but myself for my disgraceful weekend at the vbookie, and Mares and Lara are right in the frame,so yes,I hate him today.
Mares disrespects his own hard work with ALL of his cheap shots in his fights. ^ youtube comment. I agree!
he's a dirty ****, how can you keep punching your opponent in the balls then have the opponent get a point deducted? There are some styles that are rough so accidents will happen, but not at the rate it does with Mares, the dirty ******* knows exactly what he's doing. don't like the lsimy little ****er at all, will never get over the Agbeko fight
What I don't understand is why the opponent's don't do it back. If I was in their position, they'd be getting some repeated low blows till he learns his lesson.
I see what you mean, The guy is a rough fighter. I personally think they won him the first Agbeko fight, But give him some credit he did beat Moreno well nevertheless. He better change that up though or he should be deducted points.
It's really the fault of the officials. Mares is reckless more than he is purposefully trying to foul, but like RJJ said on the Fight Game, "it's not an accident when it happens multiple times." If the officials properly warned and deducted points, it wouldn't be an issue.
But to be honest most fighters foul. Only people groaning about it should be new followers to the business. If you know the sport, fouling isn't anything new and will be used as fighters to win fights. Hate it so much get a petition to have fouling banned other than that shut up about it. Exactly which is why it isn't cheating. Not an unfair advantage if both fighters are capable of fouling the other during the fight.
There is the old Ricky Hatton quote "it's not a tea party in there" but there's a difference in fighting rough and constantly smacking a guy in the balls over, and over, and over, and over, and over...etc.
