Ward is a talented fighter, don't get me wrong - but the areas in which he is questionable are the areas he definitely gets pushed by Calzaghe and I don't think he does well.

The Calzaghe who beat Jones Jr would easily deal with Ward in my view. Prime Calzaghe would dominate him on route to stoppage.

That was Calzaghe giving RJJ his own medicine that he'd done for years - now can anyone really tell me RJJ's handspeed is so shot that he's no correlation to himself? Even if we buy the idea that his legs have gone completely and he's no longer able to move the same way, his hand speed is still crisp and in those examples above, Calzaghe gave him opportunity to hit.

It's why I believe Calzaghe would have been a great challenge for RJJ at any time in his life.
