I hate clinching

    Probably the least desirable aspect of the sport. Boxers should be punished more for it. That's why I don't enjoy Wlad fights. Saunders was clinching the heck out of Eubank jr in their fight. TBE was guilty of clinching as well.

    They should legalise rabbit punching to stop the clinch work.
    Fury was making Wlad pay for it, CEJ should have done the same.

    Clinching is illegal any way but if there was rabbit punching we would have **** all clinching or rabbit punching.

    Excessive clinching causes rabbit punching really.

    it is necessary, its the only way champion tag players have a chance vs champion fighters.

    I personally think refs "could" do a better job penalizing clinchers :think

    I agree, it should be penalized more. I don't have a problem with clinches that happen when the two fighters just come together but when it's used as a strategy to disable the opponent in an offensive manner, should be penalized immediately.

    None of you have ever fought on any level, so what looks like excessive clinching to you is normal clinching to real fighters. ****en dumb ass topic. I smell **** in here anyway, I'm out!

    I have seen Benn vs McClellan, I have seen Eubank vs Watson II and I have seen CEJ vs Blackwell and many others

    Boxing is a dangerous sport and rabbit punching wasn't a major factor in any of those fights.

    You seen the doco McClellan was struggling in the gym pre-fight and had a terrible training camp. Some close to the camp to this day say the writing was on the wall prefight.

    I call major major bull**** on Benn vs McClellan. Rabbit punching was an obvious contributing factor to McClellan's fate.
