I hate clinching

I admit he is one of the most boring champs of recent memory, I just don't hate him to the extent that you do. You really hate him.

Wlad is a bigger farce than Duck Runhugger Jr, himself.

 

Especially when you claimed that Ray Austin was winning the fight against Klitschko till the 5th round.

 

Depends on how the clinch is used. Popular examples are Mayweather and Wlad. Mayweather wasn't too bad actually but became excessive late in his career against certain opponents. Wlad excessively clinches to the point it can ruin a fight.

But sometimes guys are tired, boxing is excruciating, and a reset/break is a necessary 'evil'. Also, if fighter A is outgunned on the inside then I have no problem with him initiating a clinch to survive or put a halt to fighter B's offensive onslaught. Sometimes guys that are hurt do not initiate a clinch when they should.

I don't think you realise how dangerous rabbit punching is. You do know there's a reason why it's banned?

I hope you were joking, because if you think rabbit punching is in any way okay, you severely lack boxing knowledge.

 

I used to be a huge fan of his, but the clinching was just too much. It makes me sick when I see that stuff.

I like elbows and headbutts, but just like clinching, they are considered illegal moves in boxing.

 

There is no denying that getting hit in the head is dangerous (front or back) and there is no denying that rabbit punching occurs already even though it is technically illegal like excessive clinching.

Fighters are not obligated to defend the back of the head so they don't have a need to. If they had to they wouldn't get hit their so much especially despicable huggers like Wlad and Floyd etc


I could rattle off 100s of fights where a fighter got hurt and there were not a single rabbit punch thrown. Boxing is dangerous it always has been and always will be.

 

So what the **** is your point?

 

There are so many other ways to stop a guy from clinching. To legalize rabbit punching, and for an armchair to say it makes me so glad that this poster does not represent the sport. I don't give a **** how frustrated you are with clinching, to be able to inflict further damage on a fighter by hitting him in the back of the head would be a crime and then it would be time to banish the sport.
