He wouldn't stop criticising Malignaggi every second of every round

I like Jim Watt, he is a little negative but so much more insightful and intelligent than the other commentators. It would be good to match him up with someone more positive and enthusiastic to get a good blend. Don't know who though!

BTW I thought the commentary was much better last night, both ringside and in the studio. Tris Dixon and Ricky Hatton are excellent additions to the line up.

He is the best commentator out of the sky team, which may not say much.

But before sacking him, I would sack everyone else.

Glenda would be the first I would sack.

I like him, he is one of the only ones that doesn't insult your intelligence and toe the Sky party line every event. He calls it as he sees it usually and is honest.
    Mcrory is rotten!

You Brits talk a lot of **** about him (proportionately, as much as we Americans talk about Harold Lederman...or even more) but honestly every card I've tuned into he's pretty much put forth reasonable and well-analyzed opinions. The man clearly has boxing knowledge and brings a lot of enthusiasm to the job, along with a unique and instantly recognizable sound and delivery. 90% of the time my scorecards match his exactly. (in Maidana-Morales we had two rounds swapped but came to the same final result of a draw).

I mean, sure...make fun of his very thick accent and how he's always on about "levels" and "arrrrum punches"...but you guys don't know how good you have it.

As an unofficial scorer, he's hands-down better than Lederman.

As a commentator, he's better and adds more excitement than a good deal of ours here in the states.

    Stop complaining. :good

i like Watt allthough sometimes i think he points out to much what a boxer is doing wrong as opposed to what the other boxer is doing well
loved his scorecard for haye vs valuev(and the way he stood by it) was thinking how can haye win this by not even trying to fight

    That's because Malignaggi's technique is ****!

Talented and tough kid, but he fights like a complete mong. That's every bit as much a part of why he never delivered on the "future legend" promise as his lack of power.

listen guys, c'mon to ****, he himself admits he is a dinosaur, but at least he doesn't hang of the piles of fighters like Nelson.

he calls it as he sees it, and national pride aside, I agreed with his card last night 114-114

As an 'outsider' IB, do you not feel that he sometimes has a preconceived idea of how a fight is going to go then does everything he can to prove it?

Case in point, how he was saying Morales was shot and couldn't do anything 30 seconds in.
