What is he doing on HBO ? He can barely f****** talk ! It takes him about 5 seconds per word, his commentating and post fight interviews **** me off so much, HBO definitly needs to hire a young guy. I don't know how Larry has managed to keep his job this long.

So people are finally realizing that Lary is over the hill?

I mean, up until last night saying anything negative about the guy was blasphemous but now its fine.

Pretty much. I've made my anti-Merchant threads a few years ago before it was fashionable and everybody was like "Larry's great." And I said actually he's a douchebag that does exactly what everybody is accusing him of doin' now but somehow then it was ok. He's disrespecting fighters now alluvasudden and it's not ok. Larry hasn't changed but, lo and behold, now people's opinions of him have. Hmm, I wonder why? :think

    He falls asleep between questions.

Boxing needs new blood, but for some reason they keep holding on to people like Larry. Ugh!

I don't mind Larry. It's always funny seeing him go from mildly buzzed to blacked out drunk in 2 hours.

I don't think HBO is ready to start targeting a younger market just yet but they'll have to do so pretty soon. Kids who are used to watching ufc and then try to watch boxing get the impression that it's a sport for older people and not for them. I just hope they don't expect Max Kellerman to be the guy to take them into the future.
