I'm not sure about Lewis beating every all time great heavyweight but he definitely destroys both Klit boys, not that they ate ATGs.

I think Lennox had a good chance to beat anyone in the history of the heavyweight division.

Lennox Lewis at his best could beat ANY all time great heavyweight.

But he could also lose to fighters who are far less than all time great.

Lennox seems a little overrated on these boards, I know most boxing historians dont rank him even close to the top spot, he seems to usually land somewhere in the bottom half of the top 10. Lewis was one of those guys that could beat a top guy on any given night, but could also be bounced of the canvas by a journymen. I guess it just depends on which Lennox Lewis shows up that night, but I would favor at least 7 or 8 ATG's over him.

Ali would beat him, too fast, too durable and a better jab. Holmes would also give him problems as would Liston. I think Foreman with his size, jab and power would also be a threat to Lennox. I'd favour Lewis against any other ATG though. Lewis/Tyson is a pick em fight in my opinion, neither of them faced anything like each other in their primes so I can't pick a winner.

:happy totally agree!! lets remember it was a prime tyson who could not put tucker or bonecrusher away inside the distance and lewis was better than them two.
lewis for me was one of the best 5 heavies ever and i mean EVER!!!!!

Sure he laccked spark and personality, but to me, the original poster is correct.

A prime Lewis wouldnt lose to any of the ATG.

Lewis is an ATG no doubt about it but he is not unbeatable and his 2 biggest wins came when Holy was in decline and Tyson was a shell of himself.

Or Mitch Blood Green. All big heavies who took Tyson the distance in his prime.

Tyson never put any of them DOWN let alone OUT.
