I've been defending Vitali Klitschko from his haters for about ten years now on these boxing forums.

But I don't like what he's doing with the WBC title right now.

It seems he has little respect for the sport of boxing, and cares more about his political career. So be it, then he should RETIRE, not hold onto the WBC title for month after month and keep putting off his decision.

He didn't look good in his past two fights, he's slower than he was against Arreola in 2009. I didn't enjoy watching the faded version of him. If he has another fight or two, he may lose to a heavyweight he would have beaten in his prime.

It's not fair to boxers like Deontay Wilder and Chris Arreola who want to fight for the WBC title for Vitali to slow their careers. Bermane Stiverne seems to have differences with Don King that need to be settled before he can fight, but other boxers are affected by Vitali holding the WBC belt hostage.

    Vitali, please retire.

The situation with bermane stiverne and don king also plays into vitalis hands!
He will make arreola and wilder fight another eliminator while he gets a tune up fight against a bum

I think he gave those fights to millions of people worldwide- 99.999% of whom didn't defend his online honor for a decade.

For the last bloody time, Vitali is very busy right now with the bad political situation in Ukraine.

Give the man time. These decisions take time to make. Why are you haters not giving the man ample time to make these decisions? That is beyond me. If Vitali truly had no more passion for boxing, he would have relinquished the title already.

He clearly still wants to box and defend his title.

This is all out of his control. Let him sort things out, there is a reason the WBC is giving him extended time to make his decision. They understand what he is going through right now in Ukraine, it's a mess there.

    Give him until the 15th

    Jesus Christ, you ******ed haters.

    It is time really.

Realistically his other responsibilities aren't gonna leave him time for boxing. His political work may be considered more important, but it ain't fair to expect the guys who still have to make a living in the ring to hang on indefinitely.

Is that party of his really gaining popularity in Ukraine? It is little more than a cadre of Zionist Oligarchs that will rob the Nation's resources and turn the people into slaves through Cultural Marxism, just like in every other Israeli proxy state.

No way are the Ukrainian people that short sighted. They all remember how the Zio-Bolshevik butchers treated them under the Hammer and Sickle.

I always admired Vitaly but how the Hell did he ever get in bed with that den of snakes? A Western Reformed Party is just code for turning every aspect of your Nation over to Internatioal Jewry.

If that's his priority, fine, give up the belt already.

He's had over a year to decide, This is BS!

Based on what? The numerous extensions he's persuaded the WBC to give him. The "injuries" he's claimed to have? The repeated failed negotiations with a mandatory challenger? Vitali makes the press release every now and then saying he wants to fight, but his actions speak otherwise.

No, this is directly in his control. He has the belt, he's the one expected to show sportsmanship and respect to the sport and other competitors who want to fight for the title. He has the power to vacate. Instead, he has the WBC in his pocket to hold the title hostage while he plays games.

I have no problem with saying that politics in Ukraine are more important than boxing, I would even agree with that. If Vitali truly thinks that, it's fine, but let the title go in that case and show dedication where it's needed.

i'd guess if he is elected, he retires. if he is defeated, he fights on. he really should step aside in the meantime though.
