Ahhh how quickly you backtracked. :patsch

You went from "Bradley has arguably a better resume at WW than Floyd" to " of course Floyds resume is better" :rofl Bradley has done NOTHING to prove he is near Floyds level, and half the guys you mentioned he fought at 140!!! :patsch

Actually This could be said about Kahn ...at least bradly fought marquez and PAC twice something it took years for Floyd to do. His experience alone ******ts a match with Floyd!

Floyd would have the longer reach, higher ring IQ, and better defense.

Good luck getting the Bradley fight made with the politics. Top Rank and Haymon. I doubt it comes to fruition.

Bradley would have to be a free agent in order for that to happen if we want to be realistic..But if anyone is deserving it Desert Storm

People need to stop saying Bradley is slick :patsch he's been put on ***** Street by Vargas, was fighting with his eyes rolled back in his head against Provodnikov, and hurt himself TRYING to be slick against Pacquiao. usually fights on the inside. The only time he looked somewhat slick was against Marquez, which I give him a lot of credit for that performance. Besides that fight, absolutely NOT

Don't know if it's mentioned in this thread before but just had occurred to me.

Since the WBO stripped Floyd, Tim is now the full WBO champ yes?

If so maybe Tim could be a potential opponent as it would give Floyd the opportunity to instantly won back the WBO and only have to pay sanctioning fees once!
That would be genius if it worked!!

Then he could possibly unify with the IBF for the big five zero!

    That would be awesome

It's not going to happen, I would love to see it though because they are two A-class fighters, two of Manny's best wins against a difficult style for him also so another common opponent. It wouldn't be a fight I'd want to see above Khan or Matthysse though tbh, Mayweather would have little trouble with Garcia, Bradley, Thurman or Brook.

There's no other B side at WW or below who breaks 1 mil vs Mayweather.

If Mayweather's looking to break a mil, he should challenge Miquel Cotto for the Lineal MW title.

Legacy-wise, it's a much better fight for him as well.

He gave el Cerdo Maidana a rematch and Cotto did just as well in the judges eyes.

Cotto also looks like an improved fighter since his Mayweather and Trout losses.

Cotto is NOT tied to HBO, and while Haymon/Roc aint happening anytime soon, Mayweather OWNS Haymon, not vice versa.

So there are NO roadblocks for this fight.

And I'd say Cotto would make the fight before a Canelo fight for the simple fact that Mayweather is a less risky proposition, a bigger win for his own legacy, and a far greater payday.

Cotto's ducking GGG, doesnt really matter who he fights outside of GGG, Lee, Jacobs, Eubank, or Lemiuex next since they're the only fighters who give his MW legacy any credibility, and none of em would cave to the CW aside from GGG.

I have very strong feeling that Mayweather vs Cotto at 156 is NEXT.

And that's why we havent heard a thing about Cotto v Canelo in the last 2 months. That fight is SO easy to make it aint funny. Yet......it's not made:huh:huh:huh:huh

Only less risky in the sense that he's not going to get hurt at all against Mayweather, while the possibility does exist vs. Canelo. He won't beat Mayweather but could very well beat Canelo.
