...get hit more often than we are accustomed to seeing against Enrique Ornelas.

    Call it a hunch.

I think Hopkins will still win, but I have this suspicion that he will get hurt or tagged repeatedly in the process. His age may finally begin showing signs of humanity.

I think Hopkins is fully EXPECTING a tough fight. Based on what I have heard him say, I do not think he is taking this fight lightly. In fact, he has specifically stated that he is treating this fight as if he was facing Roy Jones, and he went on to note the fact that SINCE he is supposed to win this fight--he considers Ornelas a dangerous opponent.

Still, I just have this feeling that we are going to see some deterioration in Hopkins' defense.

    I hope I'm wrong.

I've never seen Ornelas fight or heard of him prior to a few weeks ago. Maybe I'd agree if I had?

Yeah, I've never heard of him either. Guess I should start with youtube, anyone got recommended fights? or Is he pigeon feed and I shouldn't even bother?

Calm down man Ive seen Ornelas fight plenty of times and hes not much of a threat. If anything Ornelas chin is suspect and im pretty sure this fight will be over 9th round. This Ornelas comes forward and he doesnt have his brothers(Andrade's) chin.

Enrique Ornelas is Librado Andrade's brother... He's more the boxer... He was a promising prospect like a few years ago.... then he faded into a bolivian after losing to Sam Soliman.

    rummy,

Everyone has been saying that hopkins is going to ship more than before and proved us wrong. remember after the calzaghe fight? was it roach that said he should retire after seeing him go to the wrong corner? what happened next? master class against pavlik. Hopkins takes everything serious in boxing, from reading the art of war, to living like a monk. hell, i'm not even a serious fan but damn we are seeing 1st ballot hof...and that is based on current age..still going strong.

Bronco McKart put Ornales down twice not to terribley long ago. I always liked old Bronco, but he ain't exactly a slugger. BHop will most likely stop Ornelas in the mid rounds.

I'm a fan, and I underestimated him before going into the Tarver fight.

I hope I'm wrong. I just have a feeling he's going to have more problems than we suspect, but I still think he will win and I still believe he can and will beat Jones.

Don't hold your breath, this isn't a weight drained Oscar De La Hoya, or Chris Byrd, or Roy Jones for that matter, this is Bernard Hopkins.
