Very true. Floyd was top 50 ATG long before Manny so your scenario would have definitely clinched him the fighter of the decade.

Hopefully in 2010 we see him beat Mosley and Pacquaio.

You probably can't wait til Lebron and Kobe retire from the NBA as well because they get talked about too much. Who needs them.

Everything you`ve said is exactly WHY Manny gets rated so highly... its impossible to discredit his achievements... some try discredit tho, while some place him on a par with Robinson & co & say he`d KO Duran, Whitaker, Chavez etc.... the bold Dempsey 1238 even thinks he might beat Leonard... THAT **** doesnt help.
He`ll be badly missed when he retires but he should tell Roach to STFU once in a while, especially when he shouts **** about facing Mosely at 143... the guy has more than proved he can fight at WW, just as long as he fights the Mayweather-Mosely winner at 147 lbs... win or lose, I`ll say `magnificent career, thanks for the exciting fights & very well done.`

If he beats the winner of FMJ-SSM.... I wont argue with anyone strongly about that, Ive long said that Pac beating Mayweather should earn him a top 10 place. I stand by that.

At the end of the day, you are still an idiot.

You are the kind of person who sees sunlight and expects to be sunburned.

Pac needs to beat JMM next march, Then moved up to beat Juan D & make it look easy. If Pac beat these 2, forget about Soto, Valero, & Guzman for now. JMM will serve at a Gate keeper for these 3 before they can be considered with Pac. By this time there will be buzz in Boxing about these Pac vs Hatton/PBF matchup & this fight will finally be made. We're not talking about the 130 lbs Pac here, we;re talking about a much bigger Pac now, the one that don't need to starve anymore to make weight. All Pac has to do is Eat right & just trained hard. The Monster Pac we've witness in Morales 3 is rehydrated overnight Pac, imagine a not rehydrated Monster Pac???

I give Pac a good Chance beating Hatton & give 50% Chance with Floyd.
    .........

    thread was closed.

If we are only considering facts, don't you think you should consider the fact that the drug tests he has passed have now been proven too be inadequate :huh

I personally think the man is a beast. And I don't think I have ever thought him to be too small. Like most successful fighters, he has definitely been paired against opponents, at least recently, where he would hold the advantage. Even though he knocked JMM silly and then got taught a very harsh boxing lesson in their first fight, he should have won the first fight. Not so much the second. Again, this does not take anything away from his accomplishments. He has manhandled his opposition and made them all look like b*tches.
That being said, you will not ever be able to convince me that the gentleman is clean. I could give 2 shi*ts how much weight he has gained in a year or 2 years or since he started boxing. When a man ages, he gains weight. His body matures and in most circumstances gains stature. This is natural and makes a pointless argument. As someone who lifts and works-out routinely, I cannot for the life of me see how someone who walks around at (Manny Pacquiao: My weight when I’m not in training is 150 pounds.) (Freddy Roach “I don’t want him at 147 coming into camp. I want him at 155 coming in.) and has a very intensive cardio and weight regime, come in looking ripped and huge having only lost 5-10 pounds.
Side-note-Your head does not get bigger through dehydration.

He came in at 1 pound less then most of his previous fights.

Expect that no one was talking about steroids until your hero and his crackhead uncle/father opened their mouths.

It's funny how 1 baseless rumor can spread around like wildfire. It goes to show how gullible and braindead people are.

That is very true, which is why something needs to be done about it, tho i reakon most professional boxers would galdly want to clear their name if they were accussed of any wrong doing.

I don't discredit any of Pac's wins, granted i wasn't excited about him beating a smaller ODLH or winning a world title in a fight were the champion wasn't allowed to weigh in at the weight limit but its impossible to discredit any other win. (even JMM 2)

I still want to believe that the mans pure skill an determination got him to were he is now, but i'm finding it hard to based on his refusal to be tested. I just really hope he accepts the tests, beats Mayweathers ass then there will be no doubt about his greatness, because at the moment, like it or not, there is doubt.

:adminUninformed speculation?!?!?... That's an insult to anybody with a bit of common sense. Common sense, if he's innocent he would've taken the tests and give Mayweather the beating he "deserves".... not common sense, saying no to the $40 million payday because he is afraid of needles, then when proven he's lying, he changes to debilitating issues from drawing blood, then when proven he's done it before, he changes dates and no random tests, then...... and then..... and then...Common sense, NOT uninformed speculation! THEN AGAIN, COMMON SENSE IS NOT SO COMMON, I guess...or is it? ;)
