This is a really, really dumb post. It boggles the mind how you can write so genuinely and so powerfully about a warrior like Chavez, then write such mind-numbingly idiotic bull**** about a warrior like Pacquiao. I guess you're just another General Forum gimp who only likes fighters of one nationality. Shame.

Pac's KO ratio is higher above 130 now, but he has only had a handful of fights there. If he had 40-45 fights there, his KO ratio would tail off, obviously. And remember - Oscar quit, the ref decided when the Cotto fight was over, and he failed to stop Clottey. The only clean KOs have been Hatton and Diaz. So that's two out of five, or an actual KO ratio of 40%, not 80%. That the Oscar and Cotto fights were stopped were not a direct result of Pac's enhanced punching power leaving them to be counted out, it was his all-round game that forced a stoppage.

He looks fresher now in the later rounds - this is ABSOLUTE BULL****!!!!

In the 1st Morales fight, Pac's stamina was insane. He had been involved in a real 50-50 back-and-forth war, had taken a lot of punishment, and was cut, and still roared forward in the last round and gave Morales a pounding - that fight was the best example of stamina in a 12 round fight I've ever seen. Fighting like that in the last round is a hell of a lot harder than fighting like that in the last round after a far easier fight vs a punchbag like Joshua Clottey.

And if you look at Pac in the 11th round vs Barrera in '03, he looks far more energetic and aggressive than he did in the 11th vs Cotto. Pac's stamina was insane then, it still is now, but I'd say he was fresher then as shown in Morales 1 and Barrera 1, which is only natural considering his age then and now.

 

I didn't say he was an 8 division champ. I said "8 divisions later", and there are 8 divisions between fly (where he won his 1st world title) and welter (where he won his most recent world title). Count them.
