I have a sneaky feeling that Brook may be the better boxer and outbox GGG

GGG never fought a guy with Brook's skills and ring IQ, so I think GGG is in a tough one. Also the fight being in U.K I could see Brook winning by decision.

And please don't come with the old argument that Brook is small, he isn't, it's not like GGG is fighting Chocolatito Gonzalez.

maybe he can out box ggg who has damn good boxing skills himself. but the only way he will win is if his chin wins.

I think Brook is a very good fighter and he's a lot more slick than I thought he was.

With that being said, he's going to get caught with a shot by Gennady. There's just no way he'll evade the guy for a full 12 rounds without getting clipped a few times. Let's see how well his chin (and body,) hold up to Gennady's power.

I commend Brook for taking the fight, but I don't see it going past 6 rounds. Gennady is too powerful and just too skilled.

What have you seen to make you believe Brook is the superior boxer and against who?

Daniel Geale was pretty slick...and then he got caught. There's no way Brook can win this without a 'punch from god' KO.

Without a doubt, Brook will be the best boxer that GGG has fought to date. But, Brook at 160 is an unknown quantity, he claims he will retain the speed and footwork but will he? GGG just looks good in pretty much all departments, he has yet to look truly tested.

GGG by KO within 6 rounds is my expectation.

i have a feeling he will to just like most of GGG';s opponents for 30 seconds and then they get hit semi well and crumble to pieces...

Brook, whilst a big WW, is not used to fighting MW's. The power, chin and strenth of GGG will be new to him. This is a massive problem.

Brook's style will also be a problem. Yes, he can be defensively sound, but his feet are slow. If you are moving up two divisions then having quick, elusive feet helps. Brook doesn't. He is quite flat footed and uses subtle upper body movement and a step back to avoid shots. Against a monster like GGG who cuts the ring off really well, this will prove to be a major hindrance to Brook.

For Brook to win he will have to fight in a style he doesn't usually fight in with far more movement. Add in the fact that it is his first fight at MW against a hard hitting, technically sound fighter who isn't your average MW, then I really can't see Brook winning or even coming close to winning.

Mayweather has the style to potentially beat GGG. Brook does not.

GGG is a 34 old fighter. He may be past of his prime and I'm just thinking that Brook may surprise GGG with his power and get his respect. :think

Also a crooked decision in Brook's favor, if it goes 12 full rounds, won't be surprising.

He's as skilled as Golovkin, not better or worse just different, but the size difference will prevail.
