I have a sneaky feeling that Brook may be the better boxer and outbox GGG

I think kell will be fine with shots to the head, he very rarely gets hit with more than one shot and knows how to ride with a shot, he should be ok aslong as he can avoid the left hook. Its the body shots that worry me to be honest, it's vital he doesn't get caught on the ropes like so many of golovkins opponents.

Floyd has created this myth that you need to dance around the ring to be deemed as slick, geale moves around alot but he's not really slick, he gets hit.

    two issues for Brook:

GGG is excellent at cutting off the ring

    that savage power

I think those two things are going to be Brook's undoing. Brook will get his Glass Jaw shattered.

Why? Because Golovkin was 165 and Brook was 176? Fact is, Golovkin lean is 160, Brook lean is 147. Brook isn't even a KO artist at 147 and has been hurt. Golovkin is a KO artist at 160 and takes punches like butterfly kisses.

I do agree here to be honest, the huge hope is brooks style will become a problem for golovkin if golovkin feels brooks power and doesn't feel he can just walk straight through it. If brook can get his respect and keep golovkin wary of it he may be able to pull it off

I see the point but not really, brook depleted is 147, brook lean is 154. Golovkin depleted would make 154, he's said it himself. If we really take both fighters at a depleted state theres a 7lb difference. No doubt clearly gennady is the bigger man with a bigger frame. The real issue isn't size to me, its that brook hasn't felt this size difference with smaller gloves, I hope he's had some good sparring.

lbs-wise there isn't a huge difference. But Golovkin fills out way better at 160 than Brook; factor their respective punching power and resistance and it looks like an early KO for Golovkin. I like both fighters and I'm honestly hoping Brook makes it competitive, at least.

This, I don't even think Brook has a glass jaw, but I'm certain whatever he has will ultimately be shattered. Size matters.

    You're wrong, on both counts.

He is nowhere near as skilled as Glolovkin.

But he is as big, maybe bigger.

    30 days out, he weighed 176 to GGG's 165.

They have different styles and attributes so it's very difficult to assess their skills and compare.

Brook just puts on more weight off camp, he's not bigger, or the same size. I'm 5'8", 180. Am I bigger than Golovkin? Nope. Put me on the same diet and training as Golovkin and I'll probably drop to 154 quicker than Golovkin.

Golovkin is way more skilled. Brook needs something to go wrong with GGG to stand a chance.

I'd say Brook lean is 154. Brook shredded to extremely low body fat is 147.

Hearn said Brook is a natural 154, and I believe him.

I believe him too. I think Brook is better suited for 154.

I agree that Brook knows how to ride with the punches and I won't be surprised if he gets GGG's respect. Also Brook is not a feather-fisted fighter.
