I know that seems a long shot being it's taking place at the Manchester Arena on not Wembley, but given Wembley is an open air arena and there is probably only really one fight a year they can do there and next year Joshua may be targeting Fury instead, there is the line of thinking if this doesn't happen now it may not happen ever and that's a lot of money down the drain.

Bare in mind these factors too. It's all gone quiet on the Haye- Briggs front and look how tight lipped Haye is here after the GGG- Brook (from 3.55)

He says within 2 weeks, which matches up with Joshua's announcement for week comm 26th

It's also gone quiet on the Joshua front, only kind of loose mentions of Pulev (who said it's unlikely on Bulgarian TV), Stiverne (who looks like he's fighting Povetkin), and Parker (who's in kind of been indicated by both sides it's more likely for next year).

They also tried to get the Millennium Stadium which seems a bit big for Joshua v any of them.

Cant see Hearn risking Johua yet, to soon. Haye would be to much for him...hope you're right though...would be a good fight if Joshua can relax & stop being so wooden.

I'm expecting Haye to announce he's fighting Gjarjar Bings in a well deserved rematch tbh

Haye has nothing for Joshua but a well deserved rise in resume for the young champ. Haye is old, shot and weak. He is like the 2002 version of Mike Tyson, just looking for a check.

Would Pulev and Parker not be consider risks though for much less reward? And earlier in the year he did seem quite anxious to put Joshua in with Fury too. Plus the two fights Haye's had, surely he can't have taken off much ring rust in them.

It's possible because it is clear that people are under the misguided notion that David Haye is a difficult fight for AJ, when in fact he's well on his way to being a sideshow has-been along the lines of Shannon Briggs.

Haye's done nothing to be regarded as a contender in 2016. His last meaningful fight was over 4 years ago. He's retired a couple of times and admitted to having "career-ending" injuries, and he looks immobile. He's old and heavy. He's just not at all good any more.
I'm not sure why people delude themselves into thinking he's a relevant heavyweight still.

Think there is quiet a valid line of thought that suggests Eddie Hearn is starting to see Parker as a stronger challenger than maybe he previously did. This why it isn't actually that outlandish to suggest he may want to cash in on the Haye fight now. I would rate it as only a 20 - 30% chance in November, but intriguing all the same.

Haye's more likely to announce he's fighting Cuthbert Trash or Cecil Bumthimble though.

I think Hearn rates Parker but sees that fight as a much bigger fight down the line. Parker is basically unheard of, and even though Joshua is a world champion, this is just a fight between the two top prospects before they have peaked, and he at least wants people to know who Parker is before he gets in with Joshua (why he suggests Parker jump in with Price first)

Not sure mate, the fight sells itself as soon as this fight is announced everyone will know both fighters and Brook v GGG was done about 7 weeks out and still hit huge numbers, despite the fact that casuals barely know who Brook is, let alone GGG.

Plus announcing it a few weeks back would've surely hurt the promotions of Brook and Crolla's fights.

Looking at IBF top 15 I'd guess Haye, Takam or Price.
They also list Zimbabwe as country for Chisora lol

Wow so we get to see Haye throw 8 punches a round not engage and circle the ring for 12 rounds. Sounds like such an awesome night of Boxing!!!!!!
