Stiverne is out of the picture- no longer in the top 15
Pulev rumored to not fancy it
They are looking at putting Parker on the undercard...

...read into it folks, the evidence is there.

Here is the current IBF HW list

    SNO Name Country
1 Joseph Parker New Zealand - (Possible for Nov 26th, but needs to get past Dimitrenko and probably lined up for March)
2 Kubrat Pulev Bulgaria- (Also possible, but will Pulev wait for Mandatory instead?)
3 David Haye United Kingdom- (Outside chance, but it's coming into winter, so they'd probably line something up later)
4 Johan Duhaupas France- (Why not?)
    5 Andy Ruiz Mexico- (Nah)
6 Carlos Takam France- (Coming off a loss, so ruled out)
    7 Vyacheslav Glazkov Ukraine- (Injured)
8 Eric Molina United States- (Why not?)
9 Jarrell Miller United States- (Maybe)
10 Charles Martin United States- (Who?)
11 Derek Chisora Zimbabwe- (Coming off a loss- ruled out)
12 David Price England- (Doubt it)
13 Hugie Fury England- (Very doubtful. Hughie will get walked over)
    14 Erkan Teper Germany- (dunno)
15 Izuagbe Ugonoh Poland- (Outside chance, but to be fair it'll be exciting matchup)

    So basically who knows?

People sleeping on Joshua. He's seriously talented and would have too much for any HW on the planet. Fury's overrated movement and speed would be no match for AJ's skills.

Deontay Wilder could go in windmilling hoping to connect, other than that he'd have no chance.

Joshua is the real deal. No need to delay the big fights. Take Pulev, then Haye, then Parker, then Fury, then Wilder.

He has nothing to fear from an of them

The fights being announced next week so forget Ruiz and Hughie

Chisora beat a bum the other week so he's actually coming off a win.

Being it's a PPV I think you can rule out that Pole in number 15, I've never heard of him until now.

If they are talking about Pulev and Parker then Duhapus and Molina would be major disappointments.

It all going quiet on all fronts, reminds me of the days before the GGG v Brook announcement- The shocking announcement of Haye v AJ coming

If he is, and his people believe that, I'd say go Haye next, then he has to fight his mando early next year so Parker, then in the summer at Wembley the Fury-Klitschko winner, then at the end of next year conqueror America starting with Wilder

Good shout either gonna be haye or another opponent no one can really get excited about by the looks of things. Sure pulev ruled himself out...parker looks like it ll be next year. I really fancy haye in this fight tbh. Big josh is a powerhouse but he is still a bit robotic. Plus still cant get over how his body shut down a bit after whyte caught him with what wasnt exactly a monster punch. I m on my own here i think but when whyte hit him with a body shot not long after. Looked like his body was about to betray him.

Fair play he gritted it out and recovered well. But if haye gets him in that position he ll finish it.

That's a very fair assessment I'd say,he did get rocked and he did grit out and when he actually started boxing instead of rushing he looked awesome, that said Haye can really bang and could put anyone to sleep if he connects,Haye should fight everyone like he does against bums?

Thing about Haye is, I think there are more unanswered questions about him than Joshua since his comeback. He basically hasn't fought since Chisora years ago, and the cynic in me wonders how much he really cares about winning this fight, it just seems important to his bank balance to get it then retire. Whereas for Joshua he'll see it as a must win for sure

Good posts guys. Just rewatched the whyte fight. It actually was a very good shot he got caught with. But the most worrying thing for me was for the next round and a half joshua shut down a bit more than people realise. He was the most basic i ve seen him from that punch landing until the end of the next round. Legs looked heavy. Hands started coming down. Power dropped. Stamina looked like it was going. Didnt recover properly till the end of the next round from when he was first hurt. It wouldnt worry me so much if he got caught and hurt then took say a minute to recover. But hes gonna be one of them guys that when they do get hurt everything will betray them. Similar to big bruno. Again to his credit when he did recover he recovered well but the time it took is the problem for me. He was fighting back granted but everything looked laboured.

If haye got him in that position...he d finish it. I actually rate haye highly in terms of boxing iq. Hes almost always setting things up one thing i thinks lacking with big joshua. He can throw a variety of shots etc but it does become predictable. I think they ve neglected that side of his game due to the power being that good.

Agree bad news jurys out on hayes hunger at this stage of the career. If hes working hard enough these days or if he even can to go in the ring and get through what could be a hard tough fight.

Honestly tho i genuinely think haye could walk joshua into something big early. He ll need to anyway cause i dont think the staminas gonna be there to take it late or as you said even have the motivation to win a tough hard fight.

Andrew think thats why he never fought the decent fighters like he did the bums...cause the stamina was always the worry. He puts a lot into his shots. If there still standing it would end up carl thompson all over again and a lot of the guys were durable. Whereas i think hes more confident the power takes out the bums.

I see him fighting joshua as a bum. Not that he is. But more because the more you stay in with someone like joshua more chance of getting caught by something big himself.

Having watched AJ in the amateurs, and seeing that shot Whyte buzzed him, I was quite impressed with Joshua's crisis management in the fight. Yeah he did shut down a bit as you said but he didn't get involved again until he'd shaken off the effects. I think he was riding out, whereas in the unpaid ranks, he got all Amir Khan when hurt and tried to duke it out.

I do think it's important to have one of those gut checks like he had with Whyte in the pro's though. I think he learnt not to get too involved with the emotion of the moment.

Ah you think he was riding it out. I m not sure i seen it that way when watching it but could well be the case.

Yeah will do him good in the long run. Think up till that point he thought he d just blow everyone away...would be easy to think that way after how everyfight before had ended. Seemed a lot more measured against brezeale etc like it was a lesson learnt.

I dont think whytes as bad as made out tbh. He was disappointing in the last fight he had. But he does have some talent. Just has some poor areas of his game to go along with that talent.

Yeah, he did say that in the post fight press conference and Sims told him to do that, and started dominating the fight again from the 4th.

Regarding Haye, I wasn't all that convinced by him on his previous run at Heavyweight: the Chisora fight was good I suppose, but I thought even Holyfield was more convincing than him against Valuev. Klitschko beat him pretty easy, Harrison is a joker and Barrett and Ruiz was finished.

It could be argued that Haye win over Chisora is kind of on par with Joshua's over Whyte's. But Haye's over Del Boy's happened years back, Joshua over Whyte's this year.

The fight would be in London not Manchester.

Haye vs Joshua is a better prospect that Joshua vs Fury (But for the belts)

I would call it Haye TKO in middle rounds

This fight will be announced for June/July 2017

Unification fights take years to negotiate whereas this one should be fairly quick... This is why Haye came back into boxing, his big payday but also an opportunity to prove that he is a top quality Heavyweight boxer

Haye needs the fight within a year to avoid him fading... Would be helpful for him to fight a Joshua"like" opponent beforehand... Don't laugh but David Price is tall, has a big punch and a glass jaw, wouldn't be a bad tune up fight for Haye.

(BTW I am a massive AJ fan and I hate David Haye but gotta call it as I see it)
