Many people thought Solis had a shot against Vitali until he busted his knee.

Now Solis is promoted by Ahmed Oner, who is a Don King Stooge.

Perhaps after this fight (and maybe one more), Solis is officially re-instated as mandatory, and Stiverne doesn't fight Vitali at all...

A lil far-fetched (with no evidence, I might add)... But you just never know with sanctioning boards and greedy promoters...

    Feasible?

definitely feasible. think about it, thompson lost to klitschko via knockout and he's getting an undeserved rematch. solis loss via knee blowout.

I had the same thought. I just don't see Stiverne being in that fight for anything other than a payday. Solis fans seem to give him a fair chance against Vitali - I personally don't think it was the punch that ended the fight, judging by Vitali's reaction after Solis stayed down.

I can see the WBC fast-tracking Solis back into a mandatory.

Win or lose though, I see Solis and Haye as two great fights for Vitali to cap off his career with.

I do too. I thought solis had one of the better shots at upsetting vitali, comparatively speaking obviously. after the wladimir fiasco, haye's pretty hit or miss. if he comes to win then it's a good fight.

IMO you could be right. But Id like to see Solis get back in there with either Brother.
Anything to bring some life back to the division.

I have a theory about him, as well. He is one more in a long line of Cuban Glass Jawed Frauds.

Let Solis murder Stiverne and make him mandatory fairly.

The mention of Solis brings back the memories of desperate Klitlicker fans saying Vitali knocked him out and he hurt his knee on the way down. Anything to up your boy's pathetic resume and the epitome of Klitschko fan delusion

Solis deserves a rematch and will get it in 2-3 fights if Vitali hasn't retired.

I still feel thats what happened. Vitaliy hit him on the temple and Solis got wobbled legs, which didnt hold up under his weight. The punch was legit, its just that the fight ended because of the knee.

Vitali landed a right hook to Solis' temple, which caused Solis to go down, then he hurt his knee, it's all on video. So Solis' fans should quit lying.................

Absolutely. Solis, like most Cuban fighters, has an awful Glass Jaw and that slapping hook put him down because of that Fact. His knee buckled as he awkwardly collapsed from having been put on ***** Street. He has no Chin. None.

Solis got hit by vk hook in the temple, its true. But it didn't knock him down,it made him lose his balance and it's how he blew his knee that was already giving him problems before the fight. But he lost, and it was ruled a TKO,and he must move on and take it from the beginning.VK is the champ and if he wants that belt he must beat him.
