There's almost no chance Ward will win by KO. There's always a chance of injury but apart from that, almost 0. Ward doesn't possess serious KO power and won't be opening up given the chance of getting hurt. He will disrupt Kovalev and probably make it a dirty fight on the inside.

Ward could win by TKO but I agree the margin is slim. You've been on this site for 11yrs so I assume you know boxing. Ward is a sharp body puncher. As you said this fight could get rough on the inside, which I think drains Kov's gas tank. I think Ward will win clearly I give it about a 75/25.

whilst forgetting that kovalev damages people with faint jabs. look kovalev can look defensively niave at times. but ward has literally no real power, stephen smith people and that other old man brand... this isnt a damaging puncher, a decent puncher would knock these guys by accident lol
