brewster did not fight. the fight should never last more than 6 rounds. a blind man knows it. i hate conspiracy theories surrounding boxing but it is a fact. brewster was in for night without fight. a look in his face and you know it. klitschko became a brand that has to be saved. wladimir fought no opposition in his last fights and that makes him boring. i have authentic information about what i am posting here.

"wladimir fought no opposition in his last fights and that makes him boring"

    Ray Austin
Calvin Brock (a fighter most of the USA was picking to "expose" Wlad before the fight)
    Chris Byrd
Sam Peter (recognised as the most dangerous fighter at heavweight and fighting for the WBC belt next)

Those are Wladimirs oppostion for his last four fights. He has fought the highest quality opposition of any fighter at heavweight for the last four fights you numb skull.

I think you are just gutted because your boy got in the ring and found that he had left his heart behind.

Right now I don't see any HW who would come close to beating Wlad. He is the best heavy today bar none. I wouldn't be interested in any future Wlad fight unless it was for another belt. Maybe WBO/WBA winner or for the WBC after the maskaev/peter fight. Just imagine if he was to keep on fighting 'contenders' By the way here is a top 50 HW ranking(boxing.about.com) I know the source isn't the best but I figured 50 names would get in most of the fighters either way

    2. Oleg Maskaev Next: Oct. 6 vs. Samuel Peter
    3. Samuel Peter Next: Oct. 6 vs. Oleg Maskaev
    4. Vitali Klitschko Next: Sept. 22 vs. Jameel McCline
    5. Ruslan Chagaev Next: Oct. 13 vs. Sultan Ibragimov
    6. Sultan Ibragimov Next: Oct. 13 vs. Ruslan Chagaev
    7. Sergei Liakhovich
    8. Nicolay Valuev Next: Sept. 30 vs. Jean Francois Bergeron
    9. Chris Byrd
    10. Evander Holyfield
    11. Lamon Brewster
    12. Shannon Briggs
    13. James Toney
    14. Calvin Brock

    33. Joe Mesi
    34. Chris Arreola Next: July 14 vs. TBA
    35. DaVarryl Williamson
    36. Sinan Samil Sam
    37. Monte Barrett
    38. Dominick Guinn

It was a mismatch of a fight to begin with. But we all know it was only for Wlad to avenge his loss which if he didn't do, would always be held against him. It's also a stay busy fight and he could and should go for a unification bout now.

Good point, my only concern is if any of the belt holders would be willing to risk their belts against Klitschko. Its true that the WBO/WBA holders showed alot of courage by risking their belts and not milking them, however we all know Wlad would be a clear favourite, and I'm not too sure anyone would want a piece of him.

Yeah that's a big stumbling block. But Wlad has big backers behind him dosen't he? I'm sure they could stump up a good sum of money for the winner of Chagaev/Ibragimov, to make it worth their while.

If that came off, then we could see a rematch with Peter to unify all four titles if Peter himself is successful against Maskev.

those guys, who fought wladimir are paper-look good guys. austin is crap as is brock. peter is a hard puncher but what else. this guy is about 35-no doubt. maybe i am dissapointed because a guy like wladimir who is really a good boxer does not fight fights that show his strenght. i mean there is almost no competition and everybody saw that brewster did not fight at all. open your eyes but he should lose!

Thanks, I think that brewster did not fight because he was not allowed to due to accuracy, timing and power of Wlad's jab. I have read Lamons comments after the fight and this is exactly what he says.

I think the answer is for Wlad to become unified champion. He is clearly a little better than everyone else out there at the moment and once he fights Chagaev and then the peter/maskaev winner he will hold all of the belts...hopefully peter/maskaev dont duck him.

I think Peter would be most willing to fight Klitschko since his skills improved since their last meeting, he did put him down 3 times. I'm looking forward to the unification bout in october to see how the two champs battle it out. Also, since Don King is out of the picture, I think my prayers may be good enough to see a unified HW bout in the next 2 years:good

ultimately wladimir will fight for the wbc belt but only after his brother vacates/loses it. if peter wins that will setup a great rematch... if peter is willing to risk his belt that is.

in the short term people have to firmly remind themselves that the wbc belt is off limits for a year or so due to oleg's fight verses peter, THEN winner fights vitali THEN winner of THAT fights oliver mccall and most likely winner of THAT will fight the next mandatory LOL. only cause the negotiations have been a royal **** up from day one.

anyway the wbc belt will be out of reach for 1 or 2 years. in that time most likely wlad will be ibf/wba/wbo champ while his brother has the wbc belt. vitali will then no doubt retire or lose the belt due to age/injuries as im sure he intends to only hold the belt for a little while so the brothers go into the history books as the first ever heavy champs at the same time.

when vitali retires/loses etc. wladimir will finish the unification against peter who might still be around or one of the young upcoming euros like povetkin or dimentrinko etc.

so i reckon wlad will have held all four belts at one stage or another (doubt he can keep all 4 at the same time. mandatories will make that near impossible) and this will happen in the next 3 years. then he retires before he is 35 and undeafed as unified champ :thumbsup

hey everyone i just wanna point out something completely besides the point,,, look at how much big name recognition means these days its really sad,,, holyfield is ranked infront of oliver mccall when in their last fights mccall fought a much harder much better and much higher ranked opponent in sinan samil sam and mccall destroyed him and still evander is ranked infront of him,,, yeh that was just on my mind coz i think right now oliver is tons better,,,,, as for the klitschko topic,,, he is absolutely awsome and no this is not a conspiracy and neither was the first fight.

I can't help it, Brewster kept reminding me of Appolo Creed in there and he did NOT have the eye of the tiger.
