I have had a big bet (for me!) of a few hundred pounds on the golden boy to win at odds of just better than 1/2.
I have also bet DLH to stop pac at 6/4.

    Anyone else have a bet?

Feel free to laugh if pacman pulls off the win.
At the odds I felt its a great bet. I have oscar as a 1/5 shot and big fav so to see 1/2 is a good price imo.

    LET'S GET REAAAAAADY TOOOO RUUUUUMBBBBLEEEEEEEEEEE

Stunning upset. What this tells us is what iv been saying time and time again. Boxers who have fought and conditioned there body at much higher weights for long periods of time should NOT loose so much weight and drastically come down that many divisions. We have now seen Oscar RJJ and Chris Byrd all succumb to the same fate.

I am still crying in my beer at that fight.

I think I began to doubt my bet when oscar reportedly came in at roughly the same weight as pac man the day after the official weigh in. I was expecting him to come in 154lbs + on fight night.

Oh well at least I can look forward to pac vs hatton at wembley.

Oscar was coming down one division and only three pounds from his previous fight though?

Thanks for the Unlucky, I did say oscar was getting to be a good price (didnt bank on oscar coming in light).
Thought it was a steal at the odds but you never know in boxing.

On the Froch fight I thought it was a pretty even fight and never touched it. 1/2 was too short imo but I didnt know enough about pascal to think 9/4 was a confident bet.

3lbs can be all the diffrence. The last time Oscar fought at 47 was at least 7 years ago. Fighters that go up in weight in my opinion should not come back down when there body has already been accustomed to the extra poundage. Its detrimental to there performance.

I had a bet down at W.Hills on Froch to win a month ago b4 odds were released...so will be interestin to see what odds they give me.
I had one tenner bet on:
    Haye win (1/5)
    Calzaghe win (1/3)
    Hatton win (2/5)
    Froch win (no odds)
    Khan win (no odds)
Dont think i'll make a bundle, but its always good to win :thumbsup
