I too think the Kessler win was probably Joes best, but Kessler hasnt yet proved himself against the elite, & until he has then its hard to say that beating Kessler goes down as a career defining win.

The difference with you & I is that you think cos hatton got beat by the elite, he is now ruined & will lose his next fight. I happen to disagree, I still think hatton could beat the likes of Bradley. Witter was at the end of his career when he lost his WBC title, Hatton is still relatively fresh at 30ish though IMO.
Put it this way, if Scotty harrison hadnt gone insane & ended up in prison & landed two superfights against Floyd & Pac, lost 'em both the same way as hatton did, I would still want to see him come back & go out on a high.

    & thats the truth.

    Are you for real?

You think a guy can reach 43-0, 45-1 and not think he can take on and beat the best. We can question lots of things about Hatton but to criticise someones self belief is just stupid and wrong.

What would you rather, that he publically announced he'd never fight Floyd or Pac and continue fighting the Urango's of this world??

By your reasoning any fighter that ever steps up to the plate to fight the elite is 'deluded'.

    Who is deluded here?? :think

The binge drinking after his concussion wouldn't have been too good for his brain either.

He should go for the weakest of the alphabet soup title holders, take them on and retire.

He's an old 30. The guy isn't a pro between fights, he doesn't stay in shape, he doesn't live the life. He's gone life and death with a few 'b' and 'c' class fighters over the past few years, as a serious boxer at the top level of the game - Hatton is finished. And he has no one to blame but himself, I'm sure the circus act will continue for a little while longer, while there is still money to be made from his adoring fans. But for me, Hatton is an irrelevance now. He will probably end up going out the same way Gatti did.

  8. You again !!!

Who exactly has Bradley or Kotelnik Ko'd to make you think he can KO Hatton, If you actually have seen them fight before

Saw Bradley beat Witter and put him down and then win the WBO version.Bradley would beat Hatton easily as would Witter who will have the WBC title in a few months after he beats Devon Alexander.

Kotelnik will lose to Khan who under Roach would have a gameplan set up to torment Hatton again.

    Just let him go.

He had his day, would beat 99% of people he came up against, but is unfortunate enough to be a boxer is the era of two of the greatest in the last 30 years. He lost to them both and he's a very rich man. Time to let him retire.
