I have Floyd ranked #9 on my ATG list, what would he need to get to top 5? Or beyond?

I agree... Theres not much footage from the old days of fighters like harry greb ect, but i'll listen to my Grandpas folk tales that actually lived through those times and seen much of the ATGs in real time... i was born in 1984 and seen alot of great fights, like the first boxing event of my young life TYSON vs DOUGLAS and seen the anguish on everyones face at the house i watched it at, then watched wrestlemania 6 a few months later:deal...

We cant simply leave a fighter like GReb outta of the top 25 simply because theres no footage of his boxing career on youtube... but there is enough accounts of people still living in this world that could tell us about Greb ect and get a good idea of how good he was in his time... i mean the dude had over 200 fights, how could Manny Pacquiao be ahead of Harry Greb and Willie pep is beyond me...

Never fought PRO...was 26-3 as an amatuer, losing twice to Jeremy Williams.

Keith knew it was a business decision.

As for the KJ fight, I would have lost a decision....no way would KJ knock me out, he would clown me though...!!!

I'm not big (more fat than muscular) but I can fight pretty decently...!!!

No boxing per se....we may discuss major fights (ie: may vs pac) that are relevant at that time, but its more controversial debate topics (Marijuana Legalization, Drunk S*x is it R*pe?. etc)

I don't feel like i've seen enough old tape, nor know enough about the history of the sport to give a credible list - but among the fighters whose career (at least partially) i've seen live he's probably #1 or #2 behind Roy Jones...depending on how much you value longevity.

Not a bad amateur record at all, mate! No shame in losing to Jeremy Williams! Why didn't you feel like giving it a go at the next level?

Wish I could say I could fight decently. I've spent plenty of time in the gym but my dad never wanted me to box competitively. So I ended up going completely the other direction in terms of manly sports and played tennis in college at USC and even tried the pro tour for a year before I realized I didn't have the goods to make it long term :sad2

Like you, I got out of the game I'd grown to love and seized an opportunity for financial stability and I've been working in financial services for 20 odd years now!
