    Had the argument and it was declared a draw, usulally I beat that SOB but the judges said it was a draw..... now lets get on with talking about Smith and Carpentier. BTW I heard a little news from a birdie in my ear that Klompton said Carpentier wasn't great ?????? a load of rubbish, Carpentier is an ATG

    I've also got a programme from the Saldivar Famechon fight in Rome. Me dad was there and got him to sign it. 40 odd years later I took it to Melbourne and Fammo signed it for me. Bobby Sinn took me to his house to meet him.

    I have seen Carpentier against Jeff Smith, Gunboat Smith and D!ck Smith :good

    No one can accuse Carpentier of ducking Smiths.

    Yes, but we can't expect a carpenter to fight a blacksmith. A strange fact of history, in thousands of years a carpenter has never won.
    (There was one who might have had the ability, but I heard he was a pacifist :conf)

    Yeah Carpentier was clearly better than Smith and I can see why Darcy was too good for Smith, Jeff Smith hadn't the power to ever hurt Darcy unless he hits him in the ********. Smith has too many flaws to beat Darcy or Carpentier... this must hurt Compton
