I have Marquez 1-0-1 against Pac. After that, he's my p4p #1

You're right! And if not for the scoring error in the first fight, it should had been 2-0 in Pac's Favor. JMM maybe is just about Pac's equal but Pac is P4P #1 right now!

Oh, Do you mean to say Mcgrain's the only one entitled to his own opinion here? That's a lot of bull! (I don't mean Diaz)

Yeah, too bad. That goes for my opinion too! I have it 2-0 for Pac and in IMHO they are about even in talent but Pac will always prevail because JMM chin can not deal with Pac's power.:good

Yeah, because when I said "Doesn't mean you or anyone else has to," I obviously meant no one else is entitled to their own opinion. :patsch

That's all this thread was about. McGrain had Marquez beating Pacquiao in their last fight, after his win over Diaz he chose to put him at #1. There isn't an official p4p list, it's all subjective, and if someone felt that Marquez truly beat Pacquiao in their rematch than it's perfectly reasonable for that person to rate him as #1. It's not that complicated.

Yes, but both of these fights were very close fights and by no means a robbery like the fights you highlighted. Unless you feel the fight was a total robbery. Because I thought, one round each way in a scorecard in both of these fights can determine the winner.

Fact is both were close fights and in that regards you leave it at the hands of the judges.

If you take out their H2H, Pac still has a greater resume than JMM.

With the H2H it's 1 draw and 1 win for Pac.

So at what point do you take the official over the opinion?

" I have four defeats in my record but out of those four I am convinced that they were all robberies. I am talking about my pro debut, as well as the fight with Freddie Norwood, Chris John and Manny Pacquiao. In general, the press has said that I did not lose those fights." - JMM

This is the bad side of JMM that hes more hated than love by boxing fans.
