I obv agree with everyone. Also though, if you are positive in taking the fight might be time to stop reading this thread or any negatives and focus on the positives. What you do that works for you, the basics of a game plan. Simple things, snapping the jab etc. Remembering not to go nuts and just throw wildly. Pace yourself. Tell yourself these things, out loud if you have to to get them in your mind.

And most especially, enjoy it. If you aren't enjoying it then whats the point. All of it, the excitement of the event, talking to other people fighting, watching the matches. Win or lose it is a rush and can be a great experience. And good luck.

I remember you from years ago when you were doing your rapid weight loss and rope skipping.

Anyways good luck, I know youve wanted to fight for a long time.

I couldn't get matched up to fight so I guess I won't be fighting until 2010. I have way too much school and exams these next two weeks to be focusing on training or worse taking a fight with less training than I feel I need in the present time for a fight(aka fighting after one training session a week, which would be all I could do next week), I got the rest of my life to box, school is now, and I'm not so sure my trainer will be happy with that attitude but whatever.
That and I'm also getting burnt on just doing boxing, school, and work, I was feeling depressed from the monotony so I'm going to try to keep doing boxing next year but to focus on other activities that I don't go nuts, become depressed, or feel burnt out.
