I have never wanted a fighter to win so badly than with Morales last night

I felt it too. There was real magic at work.

Can't believe they gave it to Maindana. Morales more than deserved the win.

not really i don't buy into crowd or commentator bias so easily.

Yes morales performed better than most expected, but even then that was not enough to beat a one dimensional boxer like maidana.

I hope he retires because someone like khan, marquez or bradley even alexander will hurt him good. Just look at his eye that was from one uppercut.

 

i loved it he was throwing some beautiful combinations and my fave punch from him when he fakes the overhand right and throws an uppercut my god its still a beautiful shot i remember spending hours practicing that in sparringi felt 10 again it was great to see

 

Wish I watched this one live, it was a good fight and I to was hella stoked when Erik started warming up.

Thought Maidana did enough in the end...but fark it would have been great ending if they gave it to Erik.

 

it was an astounding effort. watched it as a neutral, but had mixed emotions on the bell. didn't seem fair that morales would get a loss for his effort, but at the same time i was hoping maidana didn't get robbed of what i saw as a clear victory. morales winning that fourth title with a bs belt to go along with a robbery also would've a travesty and shameful slap in the face to the great mexican legend chavez, and his rivals MAB and JMM. So I was happy with the decision

 

An uppercut like that will close even a Vitali Klitschko eye. Maidana is just a kid with limited skills and powerful wild dirty shots. El Trrible was the real boxer tonight and the scoring (116:112) wasn't fair.

 

Thought Maidana won.

Morales should of already been a 4 weight champ when they gave the decision to Diaz. :-(

i cant see a way of givin it to maidana if im honest iv already watched it twice and in the rounds when they gave it him for workrate he landed like 10 shots...if that

 

I was hoping for a draw at the end of the fight, because I wanted Morales to win but thought Maidana did just enough to clinch it in the last couple of rounds. You can't possibly call that a robbery though

 

Morales is possibly the best fighting warrior we have on this earth today.

 

i think this asks the question thought....is the quality of fighters coming through no longer as high?

 

Differs by weight class.
