The more important is that Wilder HAS DOUBTS. Otherwise he wouldn't beg for all those voluntary defenses. I wonder if they bring Gerber, Ustinov or Dimitrenko for this "title defense".
Triangle theory need not apply. Povetkin's commitment has made him into a better fighter. The guy sho arguably lost to Huck. I agree that it is Wilder who hasn't fought anyone like this new Povetkin, even though I think he is being overrated based on his recent showings. Although, I would say that Stiverne is a decent approximation, I don't see Wilder being able to keep Povetkin as inactive as he was able to do to Stiverne. That said I expect he would have some success for a while keeping Povetkin on the outside until Povetkin lands something hard and Wilder is done for.
Perfect, I rank Povetkin highly. So what do you think Wilder haters will do when the long legged Titan comes back from Russia 37-0-0-0 :think
It is obviously that the chicken legged Wilder is not as certain as you are about coming back from Russia 37-0-0. Otherwise he would have boarded the plane already. Now the biggest concern is about his next opponent. They are crossing finger and toes that Gerber and Dimitrenko have no fights scheduled.
You are right up to a certain point. The "Triangle Theory" is a bit weak, admittingly. As for Stiverne Povetkin is head and shoulders above him IMO.Stiverne was far too stiff and inactive against Wilder-Povetkin wont be. As for Hukic vs Povetkin I for one scored it a point victory for Povetkin.Sure,I wouldnt argue the toss with someone who scored it the other way round. It was a close fight which could have gone either way.Povetkin's lack of stamina was appalling, but he still managed to land the more telling punches IMO.Hukic was more active and threw 3 times more punches than Povetkin, but most of them didnt find their target.
