I have no problem with Tyson Holyfield 3. as long as....

Tyson was the man, he was exciting when he did interviews and just as exciting in the ring. Tyson beat Brian Nelson up pretty bad, the guy had a damn good chin, I think Tyson was the first to man to knock him down in over 60 fights I think.

 

If Tyson wins, you know he'll be a fight away from a title shot. That is almost a certainty.

And if Holy wins, he'll probably also be pushed alot closer to another title fight, too.

 

I think they should give it a slot on one of the networks, but PPV? No

 

i know what you mean mate,its not just the fight its the occasion the ring walk the build up all that stuff is enjoyable when tyson fights and its worth it just to hear what craziness comes out tysons mouth ,he never fails to baffle people and make them laugh.

 

even now an in shape tyson hungry and focused would beat ibragimov or maskaev.the power is always there and if he lands its over just look at the frans botha fight ,botha was beating a rusty tyson whos timing was all outta whack then bing right hand bang on the chin and bothas decked and almost falls outta the damn ring hes so punch drunk.

Exactly, he had Williams all but out in the 1st round, Williams showed alot of heart in that fight to weather the storm. I was doing some reading on another boxing site that said theres a good chance of Rooney being in his corner for this one, just because of the fact Tyson feels comfortable that Rooney will get him into peak shape and that he is undefeated under Rooney's watch.

 

I find the idea of a Holyfield Tyson fight far more interesting than Trinidad Jones.

 

felix trinidad could get seriously hurt in this fight its a massive gamble by tito
many,many boxing people fear for his safety in this fight.

 

mke tyson made the most basic error in boxing when he had williams in big trouble ,tyson let williams grab him into a clinch ,what he should have done was bend his knees and pull out of it and hed 100% finished williams but mike let williams hold him and time passed so his head could clear,absoloute basic boxing error.

 

That's still not a compelling reason to buy the fight.

 

Yeah, he showed good head movement and overall boxing skills in that fight, Roach I thought did a good job at preparing him physically, I felt the knee injury + the mental aspect of it all really spelled the end of Mike Tyson in that fight IMO.
