I have one question for you guys: If boxing appreciates boxers, then how did Manny...

You're not taken seriously. That is the legit response.

Nothing you post makes anyone think any differently ever.

its also much easier to take money from manny than floyd(unless of course you are a luxury car salesman or a bookie)

we must remember folks...manny pacquiao is accomplishing superhuman feats while moving up in weight....even though he and floyd were fighting at the same weight when they were 16 as pacs fans like to point out when fighting off steroid claims....for floyd to accomplish such amazing feats he must beat and ko kelly pavlik, the winner of the super 6, and chad dawson!

  7. I dunno if this is your legit reason or not but Pacquiao came into the picture getting big stoppage wins against the same opponents Floyd fought in his last fights before "retirement." Pacman was in the right place at the right time when everyone was looking for that exciting new p4p #1 to replace Floyd.

Not that those wins meant all that much considering Floyd probably damaged them both before Pacquiao did his work.

I don't get it either. To me it's kinda like rating Lebron James over Michael Jordan. He's good but come on. Floyd should have won no doubt. I hope his permanent tan has nothing to do with it. Then again it could be his arrogance. Either way it's about the best boxer not who talks the least amount of trash.

Pac got it because pac kicks ass. He has kicked ass through each division. Floyd is a master of the sweet science, but boxing is an entertainment sport and Floyd's unwillingnrss to engage makes him boring. In boxing brutal kos and beatdowns result in more success, popularity and money. Why did Tyson rise so fast? Same reason.

Point 1: Sure Floyd was ahead but what is your point? Here is an analogy for you. Me and you in a race, I am ahead, however I get tired of racing so I retire for 5mins. You catchup and more, you create a big lead away from me. I come back to the race and resume my position, who is no.1 then, me or you?

Yea sure was ahead of the race, but he retired and Pac caught up and went ahead. You cant just assume that had Floyd stayed active he would have maintained the lead, because just like in a race, anything can happen, 1 bad turn over a corner, 1 bad fight and whoever is right behind you is gonna catchup. Its up to you to keep racing and maintain that lead, Floyd didnt.

Point 2: Pac beat DLH more impressively than Floyd when Pac had his own disadvantages, coming up 2 weight divisions. Here is a hint for you, Pac was a HUGE underdog against DLH, JMM was a HUGE underdog against PBF. As for Hatton, Pac beat him more impressively, at Hattons best weight, by his own admission, at a weight he was undefeated at, unlike 147 where he was already beaten by Collazo.

Pac beat DLH more impressively than Floyd with Pac jumping up 2 weight divisions. PBF beat JMM more impressively than Pac, making JMM jump up 2 weight divisions

Here is another million dollar question for you:

How many mexican boxers do you know have been successful in more than 3 weight divisions? Answer: None.
Then wtf do you expect JMM to even mount up an effort in his 5th weight division, against not only a titlist, but in your eyes the best fighter in the world?

Because people that makes sense don't get your question. Pac is P4P #2 before FMJ retired? Mind you, some experts during the time even says if Pac will continue to fight 3x a year he'll overtake FMJ. This is before he moves above 130 and just a mexicutioner (he hasnt fought the big guys) then.

    Why your question is odd.
