Manny Pacquiao is the more humble, likeable guy.....before Mayweather retired he was recognized as the best in the world for 3-4 years and at that point Pacquiao never ranked higher P4P....

Also beating DLH and Hatton(when he got fighter of the year 2008) wasnt all that impressive considering Mayweather defeated better versions of both fighters and clearly outclassed Manny's best rival.

If Maayweather was a humble, white kid he'd be considered the best fighter of all time same way they did Marciano who has the worst resume of all the great heavyweights.

I disagree. Hoya was well shot as per Roach who trained hoya for that fight against Floyd. It's not Pacquiao's fault Hoya picked him instead of Cotto or Margarito who was hovering around Hoya at the time and everybody wanted him to fight the two. Instead, Hoya picked a small lighweight who had to go up in a weight class that he had never fought before and everybody said that Hoya would MURDER Pacquiao in the first round.

Hatton fought Mayweather at 147 and that's not Hatton's best weight class. It also took FLoyd 10 rounds to beat Hatton. After that fight, Hatton returned with Floyd Sr. in his corner and schooled Mallignaggi and became Hatton's ***** at the end.

People said before the Pac vs Hatton fight that Pacquiao has never faced a strong Hatton who has never been beat at 140. They said with Floyd Sr. in Hatton's corner and with Hatton's new technical skills mixed with his power shots specially in the body, Pacquiao will get cut in half since Pacquiao got KO'd with a body punch early in his career.

It only took Pacquiao 2 rounds to finish him off. Pacquiao could have finished Hatton right after the first knockdown but the ref gave hatton extra seconds to recover.

Although impressive, you cant say getting kayoed by Mayweather didnt affect Hatton...Manny is a great great fighter, but he just isnt the best fighter in the world IMO. Mayweather does everything better, better defense, counterpuncher, accuracy, footwork all the technical skills......Manny has Popualrity, tenacity, speed and power. Consider Mayweather is just as good a natural athlete coupled with his skill. Technique beats Athleticism 90% of the time

Both are equal in the ring IMO but the fact that Pacquiao has been beating boxers everybody thought would murder him in the ring. That alone made Pacquiao stand out from the rest not to mention his style of fighting has changed over the years. He used to throw punches and would end up losing his balance and now he can throw punches without losing balance. Also, his ability to throw punches in different weird angles.

As far as I know, this is the correct sequence:

    : 30 days.
    This content is protected
14 days. Their reason being that, they saw Pac give blood 14 days before the Hatton fight.
    This content is protected
24 days. Their reason being, it was actually 24 days before the fight and not 14.

So its Mayweathers fault he was never an underdog....he has improved greatly as fighter whereas Mayweather was already the finished product. Imo they are both great but not equal...IMO Mayweather is the better all-around fighter. He can do more in the ring and has the higher boxing IQ

What is the point of counter-offering on a drug test. Either you do it right or you don't do it at all. Floyd was going to (and is with Shane) do it the right way all the way up to the fight. The way the USADA does every other athlete in all other sports that they involve themselves in. Manny didn't want drug testing. 30 day cutoff = what's the ****ing point?

    you don't get it.

First of all, the whole principle - that Pacquiao is being accused of PED use by his opponent and that he is being forced to take a drug test beyond what everyone else has to go through because his opponent says so - is rediculous. Like Shaefer said when Mosley refused the extra drug testing that Judah asked of him "Shane Mosley is not a cheater and does not deserve to be treated like one"

Secondly, the whole point is that there is no consensus on what "doing it right" entails. PBF says doing it right means USADA testing, Pac says urine testing is doing it right.

    That's the ****ing point.
