Im just barely able to watch Ramos because I'm fending off Pac talk in here, but I'm impressed. His movement and temperment reminded me a little of Arguello but I definently need more time to view him closer. Tonight I am just flipping through all the fights, and I agree with you about his videos- top notch. This may become a problem for me. I would like to make a SRR video, an Armstrong video, a video of the man in your avatar, and definently another Pep and Gavilan video. At first I though he mistakenly sent me the wrong fights because the 'bonus' disk was full of guys I didn't order. Then I looked closer.
Be careful with that Raging B(_)ll. His filler fights are like a gateway drug, designed to lead you to what he really wants to sell you. Soon enough, you will be ordering the hard **** and sending him the rent check.
...... Yeah he does that every time. Sends out a few freebies of stuff he likes and wants others to see. He's pretty passionate about it, and wants others to get into stuff others may overlook, but he's slick about it; you order some stuff, and you'll get this thing you didn't order in addition to your other fights and you say to yourself, "wow; what's this? I didn't order this," and it always turns out to be something really cool.
Brooklyn, ACB.... Having not see much of Saddler yet, how does he fair in these matchups. vs. Sanchez at 126 vs. Mayweather at 130 vs. Arguello at 130
We're talking DVD collections right???? Actually I have some of his from ESPN Classic. I just don't watch it.:rofl
When it comes to pure skill, there isn't anyone better available on film as far as I'm concerned :good
I saw that fight in the Forum of LA in the 70s I would love to buy some of the Napoles fights in the 135lbs you mention the guy is the Raging B()ll.
Here's for you KG: Saddler-Elorde 2 [yt]XzlKrmXDGNw[/yt] The rest, you'll find it here: http://www.youtube.com/user/melcab Did you noticed Elorde's style??? Just like MAB. Made for Pac.
Thank you. I have already seen this fight though, and it was at the tail end of his career, and not Elorde's best weight or IMO even his prime. But I appreciate the effort.
There are a few guys logged in right now that are much more qualified to answer this question than me. In brief, Saddler seems a handfull. Very tall for the lower weights, rangy, dirty, and with a style that takes other fighters out of their rythym with the clinches and "unconventional" tactics. From there, I defer to Brooklyn and the posters here from the classic forum.
Certainly, but I do find that the classic posters sometimes "dramatize" the greatness of the old school fighters. I try to ask those here who seem to have an appreciation for both old and new. But I understand your position.
