I have him doing it early. Matthysse is a slow starter. Provo always brings the violence early.

Yeah he 'lost', pacquiao also 'lost' to bradley, do you believe the judges there aswell? Actually have you even seen the Alexander/Judah fights?

Matthysse was robbed, just like you say Provo was robbed against Herrera. If Provo was on Showtime and signed to Haymon you'd be singing a different tune. Be a man for once and be real, stop lying to yourself.

all three of those losses are controversial .

The majority of the boxing media scored Algeiri and Herrera both losing to Ruslan .

The Bradley fight was a Draw , but the ref missed the KD .

Both men are brutal punchers , and I can honestly see this fight going either way...

But I expect Lucas to be the first man to get staggered .

I didn't want this fight to happen because I have such great admiration for both men .

I rather see these 2 wreck havoc on everyone else but each other .

I think Mattysse could actually take this fight fairly easy if he fights smart. In and out. He is the more skilled fighter with better feet. However it's hard to see him resist being drawn into a trading war which to me is a 55/45 fight for Ruslan because of his chin and clearly his best shot at the win.

My point is that the main consensus among those picking Provodnikov is that he will stop Matthysse which baffles me

I think Provodnikov will win aswell dont see a late knockout though, I think he is just tougher in this kind of fight and Matteyse might not be able to stand up to it.

I don't think Provodnikov stops him. Matthysse has never been stopped as a pro. Provodnikov has never stopped anyone as good as Matthysse.

One of them will be ruined for good if not both after this fight.

This will be brutal fight. Two true warriors that is what they are.

The dude couldn't stop a mediocre Algieri. He's not what he used to be. I expect a decisive KO by Lucas through the middle.

If it's a brawl then Ruslan outmans him.
