Alright fun police, I was trying to create some added intrigue but since I've been called on it, it is obvious that the fight, if it exists, would be owned by Klompton.

Without a shadow of a doubt, any footage would be in his possession, and he never struck me as the type to deny the existence of the footage had he owned it. As he's never been shy about his collection.

I long ago gave up hope if ever seeing Greb fight. I've just told myself he fights similar to Joe Calzaghe.

 

Would be quite a find. In any event it should be interesting.

 

I think Gerb fights a mix of dirty and defense mixed with an energizer bunny like of offense. He was tough to beat. You have to be logical about which fights were actually filmed and where they might be. The Gerb rumors date back to the 60's that I'm family with. Best bet if found ( he was filmed 6 times that I am aware ) its one of the Tunney fights or the Walker fight. It's the holy grail of fight films. How can such a champion fight multiple hall of fame opponents and not be on film? We are talking about a famous middleweight who died young.

My only question was why it took your grandchild to actually go through the old fight films you have. I'd have got bored and went through everything years ago if I were you.

Pretty cool your granddaughter is into boxing. My eldest daughter is only into baseball. I am not, so that's a thing for her and her mom. Wish I had a sports thing to enjoy with her. (we have plenty of other stuff, but sadly not a sport).
