    WBO orders the fight today.

I am a huge fan of Usyk, and also give Joshua all respect as a guy who has made his mark. This isn't really a thread defending Usyk, talking about the Chisora fight, or putting down Joshua at all. It is more of a statement that I don't believe Fury-Joshua is EVER going to happen now. The ship has sailed for good.

Joshua is a bigger, more powerful fighter, but Usyk is a scientific southpaw master with a great chin, and he can throw over 900 punches in a fight when motivated. I respect anyone who thinks Joshua is going to win, but I just smell the craziness in the air with the whole situation.

It’s alright. I guarantee Hearn will have a rematch clause in the contract.

Fury only loses to wilder if he’s complacent, Usyk has the ability to win but I just think size will count for too much - could be wrong.

I been saying so since about 2014, which is weird.

Guess I better Stick to the Pick.

I'm definitely excited for this one, but i'm not rooting for one over the other. Both are respectable fighters and both have the talent to win. Either way, I'm just hoping we'll see some real fireworks because at the moment the heavyweight division is on life support.

    I think AJ takes it.

He will box tall from the outside - as we know he can when needed

Think he will get countered all around that jab, all to hell countered, up and down, out-touched.

IMO Aj needs to pressure, smother, walk down and land and threaten very hard shots, send Usyk on the run with the threat of a horrible KO.

Alphabet City takes another L in this one. As the mandatory, Usyk doesn't need to give him a rematch clause either.

Nah, it ain't doing too bad. It was on life support in Waldo's era, since his retirement it's come back to life.

That's hasn't been AJ's style for a while now, ever since he's been fighting quality boxers. And I believe he's a lot now live Wlad was after getting KTFO....tentative, and relying on boxing more than aggression. Of course that's only one data point, the second Ruiz fight. Pulev was never a threat to him in any way, shape or form. At least Usyk can outbox AJ. I don't know if he survives any big punches from AJ, though.

No way. Aj needs to use his height and reach and jab Usyks guard and body to score points so Usyk will be encouraged to move into range to land shots. Not only does this make Aj less likely to gas, it also means Aj can take rounds when Usyk is trying to be a slickster. In addition to that Usyk is 230 pounds and that weight could possibly slow him down.

This will be a repeat of Lomachenko vs Lopez. I predict Joshua by decision, but i wouldn't bet on it
