1.Guys walking through my jab like they're the terminator, Should I just up the power of the jab so they get the message? 2.Guys shorter than you who get inside and the only way to stop them is a short hook to side of the head/ear, should I throw this hook? I have trouble controlling the power of short hooks , either I tap them real lightly or I do a full powered one. I see no other way than this to stop their flurry of body shots and especially when they are clearly holding back I would feel really bad if that short hook accidentally hurts them 3.Guys who feel the need to constantly break up sparring to give you advice even though they are doing so much wrong themselves, I appreciate the advice but I prefer you'd give it to me after sparring, already told them but next time I spar with them they do it again, I know their intention is good but it is annoying Any tips?
the answer to all three questions is a straight right (if your Orthodoxe) 1/ walks into a straight right that's backing up your jab,,or even double the right 2/ if someone is coming forward to often try to keep them on the end of your jab with a straight right to back them of abite,,you will need to move around the ring till you give them a shot to thing about 3/ the guys trying to give you advise ,,sparing is all about learning not fighting ,,if he's hitting you,,you need help,, you sound a little inexperienced but eager to learn remember there are all kinds of sparing partners & some are better than others you will get more & more experience from them all,,just be patient & go with the flow,eventually you will be giving others advice :bbb
