I haven't heard a good case for a Floyd victory. He was getting hit with all sorts of shots from crude slowed handed Maidana. Jabs were landing and he even got timed and countered a few times. This isn't the same Floyd. This is very hard fight for Floyd to win.

I have Floyd winning but I don't envision it being a complete domination. Pacquiao will have his moments. I'm guessing an 8-4 or 7-5 victory on the cards for Floyd.

This. Styles make fights. Manny would dominate Maidana. Floyd struggles with Maidana. Floyd dominates Manny.

Pacquiao has a very great chance to win, the best of any other welterweight. His foot speed will close the distance when Floyd retreats. His 6 punch combination will land 2 or 3 solid shots against Floyd's D. His hand speed will make Floyd's look slow at times. He will find Floyd and he will hit him. Floyd's foot speed and defense is not what it used to be, neither are his punches.

This fight boils down to who makes the proper adjustments.

    It's Weeks, not Wilkes.

And please, illustrate how the ref can tarnish this fight.

You didn't see that the Vegas Mafia hired my Floyd hired the ref and judges.. The ref landed 30 clean shots against Maidana.. Those counted as Floyd shots...

The people who hate Floyd watches all his fights, 24/7 or all access, and find every article about him.. Then they complain about something that his opponent didn't even bring up.. Team Maidana said they lost both fights, but Mr. C.J thinks he slaughtered Floyd.. He also is the only person ever to know the Vegas Mafia and Floyd chooses the ref and judges for the fight.. He also says that it's impossible for Floyd to lose in Vegas yet every opponent have no problem fighting him in Vegas.. It's like this is a movie, and C.J knows every secret that's going on.. If this is true, he should warn Team Pac before it's too late...

In response to the question on the thread, this is not what I am saying.

    Mike Tyson
    Teddy Atlas
    Johnny Nelson
And few others changed their mind and are going with PAC. I am going with money.

The hypothesis that Floyd, to his detriment, will take an aggressive approach and attempt to walk Pac down at some point, and in the process gets badly hurt or stopped is well within the realm of what's possible.

I envision a scenario where Pac wins enough rounds on sheer activity due to Floyd's unwillingness to engage after getting hurt.

I want Manny to win like most people but honestly I think people let their hatred for Flloyd blind them into seeing things they hope rather than expect to happen.

Flloyd will win an easy 12 UD

He is more likely to win now than he ever was... Floyd has slowed massively, he gets caught more than ever now. 5 years ago Floyd would have taken him to pieces but now I am not so sure.

sometimes skill ****ysis becomes overrated with the will to win attitude. pac has so much of this plus his speed, awkwardness, stamina, and power. all these attributes are also pac's advantages against floyd.

I want Floyd to win but I disagree with you saying that it is a sure thing. Pac is fast, has high punch volume, fast feet, good power, uses feints a lot, unorthodox style and punches from lots of different angles. We can't know what will happen till we see it in the ring.

I think Pac has a better chance than anyone else at beating Floyd. I could see the constant pressure, quickness, punches from all angles and feints getting through to Floyd. Floyd doesn't fight guys who punch in bunches and with speed that Manny does. When people have tried to pressure him they have always been sloppy and tried to bully with physical size and strength and just waiting away. Manny can't employ that tactic, he just needs to punch with some degree of accuracy and find the openings.

I'm not saying Manny will win. As I said before, I'm rooting for Mayweather and think Mayweather has a better chance, but both fighters have a realistic chance at winning, both by points and by KO.
