Bit random coming out with that today. You as a lot of people seem to do love to be negative and hate the stars of today, so you can reminisce about the stars of yesterday. 10 years from now he will be remembered as a great

Still maked more money than both brothers combined.

    Fights better opponents too.

Pianeta,Briggs,Sosnowski,Wach,Mormeck were all struggling to make the top 20 of their division.

When was the last time floyd fought anyone outside of the top 5 let alone top 20 of a division

To me fighting Pacman now does not mean as much, but say Floyd fights Canelo and beats him at 154, then fights Pacman and knocks him out and then somehow beats Martinez. That right there would seal a good legacy. That would do it for hm, but that is a lot of hard work and fighting tough guys who come to fight. Not saying Guerrero is not, but he is not the top guy which gets Floyd what he wants to be top 25 ATG. That is tough to do. His career is good, but not ATG 25.

According to a sport radio show it seems that
Floyd will fight Khan. What a shame !

It's actually pretty simple... Floyd fights whoever HE wants... Not who the fans want...

    I hear ya man!

It never ends from these guys and asking them to be impartial on the matter is like asking Mayweather to fight a relevant and credible elite fighter (who isn't way past his best of course ;) ).

Its funny you say this when it was Cotto who ducked Mayweather at 140.

Ricky Hatton was one of the most intense, aggressive, physically mauling fighters out there and Mayweather fought him but its not convenient for ppls arguments so that is ignored.

Whats also ignored is Mayweather offering Margarito the Judah date when Judah lost to Baldomir but Margarito turning that down because he felt it was to short notice. Nobody cares about Mayweather's attempts to make fights. And of course even more convenient to blame Mayweather for Pac not agreeing to blood test.

The beef against fighting Canelo, I agree with that criticism.

    thats a big ****ing ring:D

who really gives a ****, the Germans also made Hassolhoff a Mega star:D.

Mayweather is going to make more than both brothers combined this year (again). Fighters fight for a living, so the bottom line is all that matters when you talk about viewership. Also, Floyds live gate is probably 3x the amount off of the 16,000+ at the MGM Grand. A Vittles fight is like a free concert in the park:thumbsup

Not 100% true, Cotto never pursued the fight and Arum never wanted to happen because "Cotto was not ready yet"

A professional boxer that risks his life by going in the ring isn't a coward, the unknown fruitcake behind the computer calling professional boxers cowards most definitely is.

Yea everyone gets excuses except one person. Mayweather moving up to his 3rd weight division but a natural WW who fought at Jr WW who was the WBO champ wasn't ready for him. Usually its the other way around.

Agree - Floyd may lean towards fights he believes he can win than challenging himself but calling him a coward clearly doesn't apply
