I highly doubt Mayweather takes the Thurman fight

I never said you said he ducked Maidana, learn to read, I swear you do this every time. I won't get into those other fighters because that's retreading countless arguments. I'm not saying Floyd has never ducked or cherry picked, because he has, but what has Thurman done to be ducked? That was my question. Forget Floyd's "track record". Thurman hasn't done anything to look like a world beater.

 

I'd be a little surprised if he fought Thurman but not massively surprised. If the fight does happen I wouldn't be surprised if it ended up like Floyd vs Canelo.

 

I think it'll end up almost exactly like that fight, except Thurman will put in a better effort, especially after seeing the success Maidana had.

 

Won't happen. Haymon will spoonfeed him, and no one will care about him fighting Mayeather with no recent significant wins.
He's gonna have to win 2 big fights to draw enough attention for a Floyd fight.
FI he needs to beat the Alexander-Khan winner, and then somebody like Porter to make it viable from a finance standpoint. Even with those big wins Floyd can make soooooooooooooo much more $$$ doing 2 fights with Pac in 2015.
Why Floyd would bother fighting anyone else is beyond me .

I imagine Thurman will get one big fight in 2015, but it won't be THAT big.
He might make 2-4 mil.
6 mil. probably won't be a 2015 thing for Thurman.
