    pac's old..

should have happened right after the hatton fight. instead floyd had a contract in place to fight leftovers marquez.

    like that proves anything.

Totally understand where the thread starter is coming from. If they ever do fight they will be too ****ing old. It doesn't mean as much now it would have meant 2 years ago. Both are a ****ing disgrace

People need to quit lying about when the fight should have happened. How in the hell was the fight going to happen 2 years ago? The fight should have happened March 2010. I get your point about Manny not being at his best when the fight happens. Me personally I still believe he would have been outboxed. We will never know now.

that's what happens when your would be opponent takes long vacations and fights tune-ups.

Floyd outsmarted him and counter punched him most of the night. He made DLH miss bad and the older DLH gassed. Floyd would never lose to DLH that night but a prime one would've destroyed him. Look, I REALLY can't stand him but I do admit he won widely and did move up to beat DLH as he had no leverage in negotiations("Golden Boy Promotions", OSCAR is the golden boy so of course things in negotiations would go his way). The win wasn't that great is right and sadly it's his best from recent times yet people still think Floyd is great:rofl.

See Hopkins vs Jones Jr. Older less active but more fundamentally skilled fighter beats younger more active fighter who has more physical gifts. :rofl

I'd buy this fight easily for the next 2 years. Pacs still in his prime, No excuses. Mayweather would be twitchin on the canvas when and if they meet.

First off, Roy had been drastically deteroriating as a fighter several years befor that fight. Second, he had also been knocked like 85 times as well. Hell, he was coming off a 1st round KO loss to Danny Green. Compare that to Pacquiao who hasn't lost in 6 years and who's the number 1 p4p fighter on the planet. You have to realize to huge flaw in your analogy.
